"The hotel is an old Georgian building and therefore reflected in the rooms and amenities. Lots of character and charm. However, this means no aircon and old fashioned door locks etc. They provide a fan but our room was still too warm. We stayed in April so the summer months could be tricky. The bed was very comfortable and the shower room was well stocked. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion and lovely fluffy towels. Lots of tea and coffee. Coffee was high quality bags and not the nasty Nescafé granules you usually get. Lovely biscuits too. For breakfast I had a chocolate croissant which was great followed by a full English. Unfortunately this was a bit disappointing. Sausage tasted cheap and the bacon was streaky and not back which was quite tough. No black pudding and only one hash brown. Toast was described as whole meal but was just plain brown. We had lunch sat outside in the sun which was very nice. I can recommend the fish finger sandwich. Beer is excellent and the staff were super helpful and working incredibly hard."

"We had the most incredible, special stay at this stunning country house! The moment we arrived, we were blown away by the picturesque surroundings - rolling hills, lush greenery, and a tranquil atmosphere that instantly melted our stress away.The house itself is a beautiful blend of rustic charm and modern luxury, with spacious rooms, cozy spaces, and stunning views of the countryside. But the real highlight has to be the hot tub - oh my, it's like soaking in a warm hug surrounded by nature . We spent the morning lounging in there, taking in the views of the beautiful gardens.The location is perfect for exploring the local area, with plenty of walking trails and picturesque villages nearby. And the property manager was super friendly, very responsive and helpful, providing of local recommendations for taxi services and helping with any queries quickly.We loved our stay so much we're already planning our next visit! "This spacious and comfortable home was perfect for us seven adults and four children celebrating New Year's. The indoor pool was the highlight, naturally. The pool is in a separate, locked building, which was very important to us. It is nicely heated and there were pool toys available. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The host provided a travel cot and highchair, which were very much appreciated. The grounds of the home are lovely and it close to Kingston Lacy and other lovely places."
