A great place to escape with family. Rooms are spacious. Living room has great high ceilings. In perfect world, air conditioning would have been nice. However, the fans worked well.
We loved the ski-in/ski-out location, the high ceiling, and in general the communication from the management and the ease of the process. The condo itself is quite spacious and fully furnished (rooms, kitchen) and everything was in working condition. These could be better: - the lockers were old and really hard to work with. We had to struggle with ours for a good 10-15 mins every time. for such a prime location (and high price), I think they need to invest in newer lockers. - the gym is meh and could use some air/cleanness. - I would expect the dishwasher to be emptied before the next guest arrives. It wasn't.

Mostly great stay, terrible lockers!!
This is a beautiful condo unit, conveniently located for ski in/out access on the Blackcomb side of the resort. The hot tub is spacious and well maintained. The only issue we had was with the ski lockers. They are in extremely poor condition and quite rusty, especially at the bottom. Ours kept getting stuck and was sometimes impossible to open even with the correct locker combination and the latch clearly open. At one point we had to get the staff to open the locker with a key. Fearing we wouldn't be able to get our skis out in time for our shuttle home, we ended up just putting our skis in the truck so we wouldn't have to fight with the locker early in the morning. If residents are required to use ski lockers (or be fined), then the organization has a responsibility to provide functional lockers that don't hold skis hostage.
We enjoyed a long weekend of skiing in this clean, beautiful, conveniently located condo. It was very easy to ski in/out and the hot tub was clean and spacious. Our only complaint is that the ski locker was horrible! It was very rusted on the bottom so it would get stuck and be almost impossible to open, even with the correct code. It took us multiple attempts to get it open every time and we even had to get the concierge to use the key one morning. With a late arrival and an early departure we were worried our skis would be stuck and we would not be able to retrieve them before heading home. It was a very stressful and infuriating experience, especially when our sole purpose for the trip was to ski, and we could be fined for bringing skis up to the condo. It seems like all the lockers either need to be updated or better maintained if residents are required to use them. Otherwise you risk skis being stuck or stolen.
this is a basically furnished condo with dated furniture. However for several guys that needed a comfortable quit place it met the eneds. Great location.
We were able to ski out and in from the lodge. Condo is very bright and specious, huge windows, crisp bedsheets, ample closet space and storage to unpack, very nice front desk personnel. Great location! Upper Village just steps away-walking down the hill. The only negative I could think of it is dated. Everything but carpets looks original. I had no problem with that just for 7 nights we were there.
First, the property management company (especially Luke) were phenomenal in helping and I give them a 5-star!!
It does need a few things addressed. I am a property owner/manager and would want to know! Biggest issue was the internet wasn't good. You could not sit anywhere other than the dining table to get enough strength to do any work. If you moved to the couch it dropped you! The owner definitely needs to install dedicated wifi!
Carpet needs pulling tight, very loose and raised in areas. Could do with a good clean too. Curtains were threadbare and slit/deteriorated in areas.Kitchen was missing some key things but I imagine the property management company will have those issues resolved soon!
On the plus side, it is a beautifully bright and spacious condo. Location is great, easy downhill walk into Blackcomb Upper Village. It was good value at the Summer price (would need work to charge a lot higher Winter price and still be good value).
All that said, I Would stay here again (the internet was fixed 😉).
Perfect location: direct access to slopes & short walk to town
The condo and property were wonderful, and the easy access to the slopes could not be beat! The beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked, and it was great to have a washer/dryer so we didn't have to fly home with a lot of dirty ski clothes :)
The one thing we found frustrating were the ski lockers. They clearly have not been upgraded for decades, and they all had grade-school-style combination locks that were a giant pain to open. The locks are old and finicky, and there's no handle on the locker to help pull as you "approach the third number." The three of us all struggled with it. If I recommend the condo make any improvements, this is absolutely what I would recommend upgrading.
Other than the ski lockers, everything else was wonderful.
Sparsely decorated, furniture has seen better times
I guess it comes with the location and the holiday season where you can charge top dollars, but at least I would have expected better overall decoration and condition of items like couch etc.
Yes, it was clean. all said. Upon arrival, the lights in one of the bathrooms was broken (clearly an abandoned repair) and the heating in one of the bedrooms was broken as well. Property management reacted swift and had repair man available within 10 minutes. All broken items got fixed. We have stayed in so many other properties, where you feel welcomed and at home, this property had more of the feeling of a party place for a large group of friends who do not care about the deco.
This is terrific unit - for summer or winter. We were here for a few days in July. Easy stroll down to the Upper and Lower Villages, apartment is very spacious, high ceilings make it feel even larger. Everything we needed, right down to coffee filters. Everything to cook full meals if you wanted to (we didn't) and easy, hassle free check in and check out. Would definitely stay here again - would be a great ski-in/out location too, right off the run to the Upper Village.
This property is a great location without the tight quarters of many Whistler properties. The finishes are dated but the place is large with great windows in the living space.
Our stay here was wonderful! The condo is gorgeous with beautiful views! The check in was easy, front staff friendly and I loved the communication before we arrived. I would DEFINITELY recommend staying here! It is nice and quiet as it is a few min from the main town but definitely walking, biking or driving Distance! The beds were comfortable and the space nice to relax in!
The front desk staff were kind and always welcomed us with a smile! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will hopefully be back to have more coffees on that balcony! :)
