A fantastic find. Had everything we needed and the location was perfect! A real bonus to have on-site parking. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great stay!

This was perfect for my friend and I for a quick weekend trip to Whistler. It was comfortable, pretty close to lifts, and a short walk to everything. Had everything we needed for the weekend.

Alpineglow studio Vs Area Hotel

Upon comparing this VRBO’s ”actual price”; per night fee, PLUS taxes, service fee, cleaning fee we have decided we would have been better off to stay at the slightly more expensive hotel that our friends stayed at. Whistler’s VRBO’s are charging hotel rates, but do not offer nearly the same services or luxuries & the price differential is negligible! Alpenglow does not offer drop-off/pick up services & the hotel did. A huge benefit especially if you do not have a vehicle. This VRBO requested their guests take garbage/recycling to the garbage room in the parking garage. The hotels do not. Thus, I have asked myself why I payed the cleaning fee I did when I took out my own garbage & cleaned up after myself the entire time I stayed. Alpenglow’s front entrance doors were broken during our stay, thus guests had to enter the building via the parking garage or through the poorly lit back pathway to the rear door. The floor hallways were a bit dingy. The duvet cover seemed a little tired. There was a very strong cleaning/air freshener odour upon our arrival in the unit which was initially overwhelming, but eventually faded with time & opening the balcony door. I believed our room was suppose to overlook a green space (park at rear), but I may have been mistaken on this. On a more positive note: Bed/pillows very comfortable. Fridge/stove clean & worked well. Street/hallway noise did not penetrate room. AC worked well. Hot water plentiful.
