ACCESS TO SKIING: Guests can take the free village shuttle (bus) from the bus stop just 75 meters from the door of the unit. Alternatively guests can walk to the access trail within 5 minutes of the bus stop. The trail leads directly to the base of Blackcomb Mountain and the NEW 10 Passenger Blackcomb Gondola! DISTANCE TO THE VILLAGE:
Guests can take the free village shuttle (bus) from the bus stop just 75 meters from the door of the unit. Alternatively guests can walk to the access trail which follows behind the Fairmont Chateau Whistler and leads directly to the base of Blackcomb Mountain. The base of Blackcomb offers restaurants and shops within a 7 minute walk of the townhome. Parking is underground and there is limited overheight parking available on a first come first served basis. LOCAL AMENITIES Within a very short walking distance guests will find ski school, ski and snowboard rentals, bike rentals, restaurants, a liquor store, a small grocery store and various retail outlets. The walk to the main Whistler Village will take around 7-10 minutes on foot, however, a village transit bus comes every 7 minutes in the Winter and every 15 minutes during the other months. The bus stop is just a short stroll from the door of the unit. OTHER ACTIVITIES Golfers can enjoy the Chateau Whistler Golf Course, one of the finest golf courses in British Columbia, just a short walk from the lodge. Spas are located throughout Whistler Resort for those looking for extra help in relaxing. Lost Lake Park is located only minutes from Wintergreen where guests will find great hiking, picnicking, swimming and fishing in the summer months and Nordic ski trails in the winter. The base of Blackcomb turns into a children’s paradise in the summer when it is converted into a giant playground hosting horseback riding, a climbing wall, various rides and amusements, mini-golf, and more. This condo worked very well for our needs. Everything was clean and well equipped for our week long stay. My only negative was that it was on ground level and with its location in the condo units, it felt a bit dark with limited natural light on main floor.
A clean, spacious property that comfortably slept the whole family. We enjoyed the free shuttle to Whistler that was very close to our front door as well as the full kitchen, and hot showers with good water pressure. The property manager was very helpful and prompt when we needed to contact him.
Although it was a short stay, we really enjoyed our stay. The size of the condo was a good surprise, and having two full bathrooms is definitely an advantage. I recommend this condo.
This condo is great for a family! It is close enough to walk to Blackcomb base and is also on the bus route for an even easier way to get there. One thing we loved about it is how quiet the complex is. If you're looking for nightlife, it's a quick and easy drive to the Whistler side.
My brother spend 6 nights in Whistler following an Alaskan cruise. We chose a place that gave us each a bedroom and was reasonable close to the village and the biking trails.
The unit was clean. The beds were comfortable, The kitchen area was well stocked with utinsels, etc.
Good location, bus was very conveniently. Enjoyed the heated bathroom floors and jetted tub. Small stereo in living room was nice to have. Was told there would be a dvd player but there wasn’t. No big deal, didn’t watch much tv anyways. Kitchen was well stocked. I would rent this again
I highly recommend this condo at Winterplace. The property was exactly as advertised. It was spacious and in great shape, having been updated with new furnishings recently. Mattresses/beds in bedrooms were very comfortable and bedspreads were very appealing, appearing to be brand new. Furnishings were very nice. Bathrooms were updated with things like a shower wands with multiple settings. We cooked a good bit and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. We did not need to contact the host but once at the end of the week. On our last day of skiing we reported that there was a minor issue with the TV. It would lose the cable signal intermittently but then reconnect after a few minutes. The cable company was contacted and I assume this was fixed right after we left. The location was very convenient. The bus stop was right beside the driveway and we were only 3-4 stops from the Blackcomb Gondola.When we used taxis there seemed to be plenty since a taxi normally arrived within 5 minutes after calling. The entire Whistler Blackcomb resort was fantastic and service was spectacular at the slopes, restaurants, shops, etc. The staff genuinely tried to ensure that every guest had the best vacation ever. I would definitely stay at this property again!

We had another wonderful stay in a VRBO or Homeaway location -- This condo was perfect for 4 of us -- very clean, and FILLED with cooking pots and pans - which we didn't really use, because we came to SKI! and the skiing was AWESOME! Location of this condo is wonderful, within a 10 minute easy walk to lifts, or take the free shuttle every 15 minutes, catch it right across the street! Will stay again when we come back to Whistler!

We came to Whistler for an event. The unit was well located in Blackcomb. We especially liked the floorplan of this unit as it allowed for privacy for each guest yet a nice open kitchen and living room. We had a minor problem with the bathtub but the operations manager, Clint, was quick to respond and fixed the problem right away. I would stay in an Acer property again.

The accomodation is spacious, comfortable and well equiped. As it is on the ground floor there is an outside sitting /eating area. Unfortunately not with an extensive view

Just okay
Good location, but definitely more dated than the pics make it look. The beds are rock hard. My only decent night sleep was on the couch. The kicker was waking up to mouse poop on the kitchen counter after our first night, and there weren’t any cleaning supplies to clean it up. We had bought some groceries to make breakfast, but who wants to prepare food on a contaminated counter. We had to contact the property manager, and have them send out the cleaning crew to wipe everything down and leave us some cleaning wipes to clean before cooking. It kind of made the whole place feel dirty. Also, be prepared to buy laundry detergent at the store if you want to use the washing machine in the unit. Not a big deal, but it wasn’t mentioned in the listing.
