"Room was definitely not clean - cutlery /crockery provided needed a good wash before it could be used. Check in was weird. Was told after I questioned that the reception would not be open after 5 Pm and I would be contacted with details. Had to phone as no details forthcoming. Advised the key would be under the mat. It wasn’t. Had to phone again to be provided the lock box code. Parking is not that convenient if you have heavy luggage Serviceable if you’re in a bind but I’m sure there are better options out there. "

"Room was clean and tidy. Plenty of pillows and towels. There was nice booklet about history and local things to do which was nice. Lots of parking nearby. Within walking distance to everything in town."

"Only about the 6th time I have stayed at the York Motel. Rooms are always clean, staff are extremely helpful. Great spot and only a short walk into town."

"The most comfortable bed! Everything we needed and more was supplied. The daiky room service was an unexpected treat when we came back to a freshly made bed and fresh choccies on our pillows! James was quick to respond to our message and Marthie was a delight 😊"

"The property was great! Comfortable and clean. The only down side was the map to get there was inaccurate. After a long travel day to get there this was very frustrating. Also lack of light bulbs working was also average. Range hood, lamps,and some ceiling light, either missing or not working. Overall though we had a great time and would stay again."
