It’s said to be the most extensive wine selection in the world, and after catching a glimpse, I have no reason to doubt it. My next visit will certainly be a toast to that collection! The building itself is architectural poetry — stately, timeless, and full of character. Even the doors to each unit are miniature works of art, polished portals into cozy sanctuaries that radiate old-world charm. But what truly elevates the experience is the warmth of the people. The Front Desk Clerk wasn’t just helpful — he is the heartbeat of hospitality, offering a welcome that felt like a true introduction to the spirit of Philadelphia. And then, the serendipity — the kind of moment that turns a great stay into a treasured memory: just beyond my window, the water shimmered, and suddenly, the night erupted in a dazzling 15–20 minute fireworks display. Pure magic, framed perfectly by the historic windowpanes of my room. A stay here isn’t just accommodation — it’s an experience stitched together with elegance, warmth, and surprise. "

"Excellent and very huge property with lots of things to do. 1 day is less to spend here. Need at least 2 days. Highlight is their swimming pool under dome. Worth recommended. "

"Atlantic City seems quite depressed, most especially a couple of blocks off the boardwalk. Hard Rick is great. Loved the hotel's 22 floor view. Good gym and pool (if somewhat dated). Comfy beds. Great checkin staff."

"Check in was a breeze since I did pre-check in. I also like that when you do pre-check in, you can pick what floor you want to be on. The room was spotless and the view of the ocean (which we didn't know we were getting) was beautiful. The staff throughout the Ocean were super friendly. There are plenty of restaurants to pick from. We went to Bang Zhen and the food was amazing. We went to see a show at the Ocean. While the event itself was great, the Ovation Hall was not the most comfortable. When we got there, our section of seating was gone. Like the whole section was gone. We were not notified about that. However, the staff at the door had tickets on hand for new seating which were still good seats in terms of location, but the seats were actual folding chairs. And sitting in a folding chair for a 3 - 3 1/2 hour event was pretty uncomfortable. I think if we went back for an event in Ovation Hall, we would sit further back as second level section was regular cushioned seats. Other than that one thing, the Ocean is still one of the best places to stay in Atlantic City!"

"Convenient setting, quiet room with nice towels, toiletries. Adjustable lighting was nice, but would have liked extra option to allow for task lighting for make-up application in the room near mirrors and more outlets in the bathroom. Bathroom had variety of long/short black hair in the shower, so not sure if it was cleaned thoroughly? Pillows were not the most comfortable although staff was very accommodating to bring extras. Water bottles in fridge would be nice touch. "
