Amazing, glad I booked here !

This is right on the seafront, only 10 mins walk from the station. The room had all the comforts, and i particularly liked the view from my window to the sea. Would recommend, as quiet, good wifi, en-suite. Everything you need, and also plenty of restaurants close bye.

A superb location. Lovely hotel!

This is both an amazing location and an amazing hotel. Rob, the host, was a perfect one. He welcomed us, told us god places to eat etc and explained how the car park worked. The room was amazing. Clean, tidy and with the most amazing sea view. Coffee making facilities, toiletries and towels were pristine and the building was in superb condition. A really restful and comfortable stay If I had a single issue it was the car park. I found it stressful to leave a car in it blocking other cars in who might want to go out so moved it to a paid car park during the day. But having said that it was great to have somewhere to park overnight. I appreciate the restrictions of the space and it is dealt with well. Overall I would really recommend this hotel and will hopefully return soon. I know the dining room is being refurbished and look forward to breakfast in the future!

Stayed here after my original hotel was apparently overbooked. Right on the Esplanade as the name suggests, this guest house is a 10 minute walk to the town centre and around a 5 minute walk to the train station. My room, (Room 7) was a large room with a king bed and a sea view. The whole property seems to have been refurbished fairly recently. The only downside is that no breakfast included as due to a certain pandemic, the demand for it is no longer there. However, the proprietor, Rob sent me a list of a places that do breakfast. The closest place, Hamiltons, is literally a 2 minute walk away. Rob is friendly, approachable host who provided plenty of information about car parking, the check in process (there's no reception in the property) and other useful information. He kindly looked after my luggage so that I could spend my last day in Weymouth and he has sent me a message wishing me a safe journey home. I will definitely try to stay here the next time I stay in Weymouth and would recommend to others.

Great place to stay.

Enjoyable short stay in a family room. COVID precautions in place to keep safe with good breakfast menu cooked to order. Close to town centre with restaurants nearby and on the sea front, great location.

Hotel Esplanade

My husband and i stayed at the Esplanade Hotel for a week and what a fab time we had from the moment we got there until we left.The room was immaculate and nothing was to much trouble for the host and staff.The breakfast we had everyday was absolutely lovely and the service from the staff impeccable.They went above and beyond to help with anything we needed and were friendly as well.Well done to rob and his team we definitely will be coming back again very soon and once again many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great B&B in a lovely location

Stayed for a couple of nights May bank holiday, last minute booking & everything ran smoothly on check in. Very COVID aware & we felt very safe, place was spotless. Rob the host was lovely & made us feel very welcome. Right on the seafront with lots of activities, shopping & restaurants within 5 minute walk. Would definitely return.

Good place to stay

Great time Rob was really accomodating beforehand and has done all he can to make the building covid safe. I did find the takeout breakfast style slightly overpriced, had I realised the total format (takeout cardboard cases not plates for example) I might have chosen the no breakfast option. The room was great, fabulous view, lively Weymouth photos on walls of stairs. A good time, thank you

A Trip Down Memory Lane

Excellent location right on the sea front at the quieter end of town but close enough to walk into town. To get to the beach simply cross the road. We went whilst there was distancing rules in place and Rob and his family managed to cope very well with the changes that he had to make. All in all excellent stay and very good value for money for August.

Warm welcome

Rob gave us a warm welcome. The food was very good. The locks on the doors need replacing as struggled a few times with the room key. We all enjoyed our stay for sure.

Really friendly staff, lovely bedroom and bed, great location just off the main part of the beachfront (so a bit quieter - head straight across the street for a swim). Lovely breakfast! The only downside was that the WiFi did not work at all while we were there.

Great Location and host

One night stop in glourious weather. The owner Rob was brilliant and so laid back it was a joy as was the breakfast he put up which was absolutley top nothch both in quality and quantity. Fantastic location with the beach litterally across the road.

lovely stay and well cared for

We stayed at the Esplanade for three nights and had a thoroughly nice stay, the weather was very good, which always helps and we were in the room with the balcony that overlooked the sea. check in was nice and quick and Rob was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was comfortable , if not a little tired looking. the breakfast menu had a good choice that would suit anyone and the cooked breakfast was well presented and cooked perfectly as requested. Parking is a little tight but well organised , the only concern that I had was that I was given one key that fitted the front door and my room, this key also worked in the room next to ours
