The whole experience was fantastic. Mel & Trish couldn’t have made as feel more welcome or do enough for us. The guesthouse is a beautiful property, had everything you needed was in the room, we had a comfortable stay, great breakfast & choices. We will definitely return to stay at this guesthouse . Trish and Mel offered an excellent service at their guesthouse, they even met us up at the railway station to provide a short tour of the area. Every morning at breakfast they asked about plans for the day and provided some additional ideas and tips, wanting to make sure their guests get the best possible out of their stay. We can warmly recommend Calm Sea Guest House, for several reasons: Very convenient location close to train station, buses and the beach Good value for money Nice and clean Welcoming and friendly owners

Memorable stay in Weymouth

We highly recommend staying at Mel and Trish’s bed and breakfast! They were exceptional hosts, providing fantastic tips on local activities and even taking the time to show us around the city. The breakfast they served was absolutely delicious, and the peaceful environment ensured we had restful nights - even it‘s only a minute away from the beach. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Ohhh Amazing stay in the hotel, people are very friendly, the room is nice and clean, the hotel is not far from the beach and the train station too, very good service and the breakfast. I recommend absolutely this hotel 🏨.

Nice comfortable room, although quite hot as located on top floor. Very clean, great food, friendly owners who provided helpful advice on Weymouth and where to go. We recommend as suitable for families and couples

Gorgeous guesthouse

What a lovely find. Very clean and comfortable room. The owners are really lovely and helpful with lots of knowledge about the local area. Dressed the room beautifully. Had tea/coffee and a little fridge with real milk in it. Will definitely stay here again.

Five Stars - A Truly Wonderful Stay! We had an amazing experience staying at Clam sea Guesthouse . From the moment we arrived, Mel & Trish made us feel right with their genuine warmth and thoughtful hospitality. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable—every detail was clearly well thought-out. Mel and Trish went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Wonder full stay

Only stayed a couple of nights but service was very good met at the station by Mel the owner who has a very happy way about him sorted out free parking for our friends who also stayed with us good value for the money with the very good breakfast as well would certainly stay again

Trish & Mel were very welcoming and couldn’t have done anymore for us. We stayed in the deluxe double bedroom & it was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed & pillows. The en-suite shower room was clean & the shower worked really well. The breakfast was really good, as much tea / coffee as you like and a really tasty cooked breakfast. Thank you for a lovely stay, we’ll definitely be back.

We had a great time at Calm sea guest house, Mel and Trish were very welcoming, showed us where to park (for free with guest house pass), pointed out the local eateries, we tried Bennett’s fish and chips by the harbour, also Chilli’s Indian restaurant and Gurkha Chinese buffet, all of which we would recommend, very nice breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, and a very well stocked ‘mini’ shop with honesty box. Some beautiful places to visit either by train or bus (some open topped) and bus stop 2 mins walk away. All in all a vey enjoyable stay and would highly recommend, families most welcome too!

Wonderful night stay at Calm Sea

The magical mattress and pillows gave us a very comfortable night stay at Calm Sea. The room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds is cozy and good size. We love the little corner table with some games. The breakfast is awesome! The hosts Mel & Trish are very friendly and helpful :)

What a lovely place. The owners are new to the B&B game yet they are doing a fantastic job. The whole place has been completely refurbished and is very comfortable. Breakfast went down well and kept us full for the day.

The room I booked was small, but clean and cosy. I came for the annual Half Ironman race and really appreciated how the owners packed a carbohydrate-rich breakfast and allowed me to take a shower after my check-in period ended. They were very friendly in their interactions in general. Overall, I will choose to stay here in my next trip to Weymouth.

Very nice stay

We had a lovely long weekend stay at Calm Sea Guest house! Highlights: comfortable beds, entire guest house is very clean has been newly renovated, excellent breakfast (including cooked and cold options), and travel cot available. Super friendly, helpful, and attentive hosts Mel & Trish. Location is very convenient to the train station, tourist buses, beach, and all sorts of restaurants. Very reasonably priced for the area. Thanks for a very nice weekend Trish & Mel - we wish you all the best with this new venture :)

I would echo previous good reviews

As the rooms had been recently refurbished, mine was modern, clean and double glazed. Everything worked properly and there was no shortage of hot water. Breakfast was fine and the hosts were very attentive. It's a short walk to the seafront, not far from the centre of town and a little further to the harbour. There was a decent sized chest of drawers and a little fridge. The wardrobe was just a rail hanging over a shelf and it's likely that long coats would put the shelf out of use for any writing etc. But the owners have made the best of the existing layout.

Best B&B we have stayed in.

Absolutely outstanding. Mel and Trish were so accommodating. We arrived late due to traffic and were welcomed with tea and toast. Parking the motorbike could have been a problem but this was sorted as Trish phoned the council for a permit. The couple were full of local knowledge to enhance our stay in Weymouth. Breakfast was excellent and made to order every morning. Great location, just off the main promenade. Would definitely recommend. Mel and Trish always had time for us and were interested in our recommendations too.

The Friendliest B&B we have ever come across!

We came to stay for two nights for a wedding. I can honestly say I have never been the recipient of such wonderfully friendly and accommodating hosts. The breakfast was perfect, the room was clean and comfortable and the hosts couldnt do enough to help us out with the local area. The only small thing was that the room was a bit warm, had to open the window which left us woken by the seaguls. Id still give the stay 10/10 Would stay again with no hesitation!

A very pleasant guesthouse situated on a quiet street but within easy walking distance of the beech and shops. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us. Offering to collect us from the train station when we arrived. We were able to check in early and were given good advice on restaurants in the area. We were even offered a tour of Weymouth to get our bearings. Breakfast selection was good and the food cooked to perfection. Accommodation was clean and contained plenty of storage space. l would recommend this guesthouse to friends and family.
