"Had a wonderful stay here. Incredibly personal touch from all the staff referring to me by my name, which made me feel very comfortable. An incredible property rich in history, with a modern, well-equipped room to compliment it. Food options were extensive and delicious. Breakfast was great, very high quality, and very attentive staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "

"Check in was a breeze, straight up to my clean and warm room. As it is at a services there are options for you evening meal. Had a comfy bed and a good sleep. Woke up early to a tasty breakfast buffet so plenty to eat and a good variety. Everything you need forba short stay. "

"Rooms here are great, each one is quirky in their own way, and a lovely touch to have radio playing in room as background music on arrival. The 2 ladies that greeted us on arrival were welcoming and showed us all (4 guests) to our rooms. Evening meal in the bar was great too, cold and frosty outside, the pub reminded me as something out of The Holiday!!!"

"Booked Brook Hall for a stag weekend of 12 guys, which Edward was happy to accommodate. It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). Thanks for the recommendation of Dougies taxis as well, this was really helpful and they were great with really friendly drivers. Lovely location and house, particularly the garden. Perhaps even better if there were more showers (only 2) but this did not detract from the overall experience. Happy group and happy stag!"
