"This property has potential and we had a mixed experience here. The pros: the hotel is conveniently located off the highway, there is plenty of parking, there is a Publix a short driving/walking distance away, the buffet breakfast is plentiful, the staff (especially Phyllis, Mica, and the gentleman who worked the desk in the evening) were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful, check-in and check-out were easy, bed linens were great. The cons: the area of town didn't seem great (it looked like homeless people were half a block from the hotel in the evening), the room cleaning was B+, room carpet was older and had some stains, check-in after 11 PM was through a video kiosk and there did not seem to be an attendant on site at that time of the night, the hotel WiFi was very spotty, gym was quite small with older equipment, our room smelled a bit musty, the room seemed in need of a refresh/patching/fresh coat of paint. We didn't look at the pool. Overall, I think this is a very good value for the price. As a woman staying there with my son I felt a little uncomfortable in the area of town given the front desk didn't seem to be staffed 24 hours a day. I appreciated that the staff were so helpful and offered we could move to a different room given our first room had a musty smell. They were also very accommodating when our travel plans changed and I appreciate the efforts they made to make our stay as pleasant as possible."

"We were there because it was close to venue where we attended wedding. I don’t have a reason to return unless there’s another family event. Not a place I would choose to vacation. Room clean. Mattress was due for a change. Very saggy. We were in a room with 2 queens. If you slept in the side away from the center night table it was a little better. Staff very pleasant and cheerful. Didn’t see or use at pool. Starbucks coffee was what you expect. So that’s good if you like Starbucks. And you get free refills. But skip the macchiato. Only tried breakfast there. Breakfast sandwich was on a hamburger bun and made with “liquid” eggs. Not good. There was yogurt and prepackaged yogurt with fruit. It’s not a buffet bar and it’s not included. Overall pretty much what you expect from this caliber hotel. And it’s not walkable to much."

"All the staff were great! The restaurant food was good and the breakfast buffet had a lot of variety. Family members thought the drinks from the bar were good. The room was clean and adequate. Having a fridge was nice but it was noisy and woke me up in the night. Our room was on the street side and we heard the traffic so I would suggest a room on the back and up on the 6th floor. The carpet in the hallway looks old and was not smooth. It is not a trip hazard yet it could be soon. All in all we would go back again."

"The staff were very friendly and kept the place clean. It’s in a nice area. I loved going for walks to the river. The only thing is they don’t serve breakfast, but there are plenty of places to eat at near the hotel."

"Excellent property and home! We loved that our fur baby had a fenced in back yard to run in while we relaxed in the screened in porch! The host was amazing and always responded promptly. Thank you so much for letting us stay!"
