The hotel has a fresh and modern decor, and is very clean. Our room was larger than the typical Singapore hotel room, with a closet and view. The rooftop outdoor bar and pool area is very nice, and comfortable for sitting outside, even in the warm weather. The location is great with plenty of dining options close by.

The rooms need renovation; they look very old, which makes them appear dirty even when they are actually clean. This includes replacing the toilet seats—they make a lot of noise when closing, and you can even hear the ones in other rooms being shut. The breakfast needs better options. My first experience with the front desk staff was very poor, but on this second visit, I was assisted by someone else, and the experience was much better.
