"It was a great stay. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Breakfast and happy hours were fun and food was really good. The room was great, especially with the view of the river. We were both very happy and will return."

"Check-in was terrible. We were at motel at 4!5pm and were told that we couldn't check in for at least a half an hour because the rooms weren't clean. Went back at 6pm and had to wait a half an hour to check in. Lot of people to check in plus the check-in person left the desk for about 15 min. before coming back (with no apologies). In spite of that, room was cleans and beds were very comfortable."

"When I arrived, the staff said my Expedia account had put me in 3 different room for the 3 nights I was staying! Aarg!!!! That was as frustrating! It happened last time I stayed at this hotel and I assumed it was as them. No, EXPEDIA!! Please never do this to me again! Luckily, they noticed it and changed it!"

"The hotel apparently was remodeled and I arrived to see the results, the carpets were springy under foot. Meaning new padding. The rooms spacious and clean. The ac unit function fine. The fridge kept the drinks cold. The parking lot needs help. Breakfast was basic. Staff friendly. Very convenient, just to the right after the bridge and then back onto the road heading south to Chicago. Area was quiet"

"This hotel is good for the location-even if you don't gamble- it is near both highways to get into Peoria or Washington/Metamora/Eureka areas. It is a little tired though and could use some deep cleaning in the rooms. You can tell there are a few upgrades like shower walls, doors and fixtures, but then there is peeling paint and broken tiles. Overall the staff was super friendly and helpful. They have a great steakhouse and bar on the campus area and inside the hotel is a bar open on the weekends which is nice. Plenty of parking even with an event at the hotel. I do like that you have to have your key to gain access to elevator and rooms. I would stay here again if price was right."
