"Myself and colleague had a wonderful stay at the lodge for 12 nights.Incredibly comfortable and very well equipped. Patrick and Sue are incredibly helpful and kind and live in the main house opposite but were very respectful of privacy and making sure we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend for a short or longer stay. I will be back."

"Lovely location - however it’s not really suitable for rental. The hot tap in the kitchen sink doesn’t work at all - nothing comes out of it? A mystery as the downstairs loo next door has plenty of hot water in the tap. Really inconvenient to wash up. Dishwasher doesn’t really clean properly. Aga is good but no shelves available to fit in the oven. Everywhere has peeling paint or chipped damaged wall paper. The showers are a disaster- the en-suite is taped together with masking tape with a feeble spray and the family bathroom shower drain - is blocked some how - so as soon as you have a shower the whole floor floods? Many of the lights don’t work - lots of redundant light switches. The garden doors to the patio impossible to unlock - unsure if the keys weren’t there or just badly cut? The key board needs to be properly labelled - it takes far too long to try and work out which key belongs to which door? Broken blinds etc etc I have taken photos and happy to share ."

"Library Cottage is the perfect hideaway, tucked away in the depths of West Sussex. This was our second visit and it was just like home from home with a warm welcome from our hosts. The scenery on the South Downs is stunning and the seaside resorts have their own traditional attractions like the pier at Eastbourne and holiday rock at Bognor. All in all, a delightful week."
