The George & Dragon Pub - The Apartment

"traditional pub with very friendly staff and good quality food. the flat is above the pub but has its own entrance. You can hear people downstairs but this didn't disturb us. We ate both evening we were there and it was excellent and very good value. The flat is in the oldest part of the pub and as such the door frames are low but the ceilings are fine. There was everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Very good value for 2 couples."

"We had such a fantastic stay at this gorgeous annex in the heart of the West Sussex countryside. The setting is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to switch off and recharge. The annex itself was spot on, clean, comfortable, and really well thought out, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making it feel welcoming and homely. What really made the experience stand out though were the hosts. They were genuinely lovely and incredibly attentive to our needs without ever being intrusive, a perfect balance. Nothing was too much trouble, and it made the whole stay feel effortless. It is also brilliantly located, easily commutable to Billingshurst, Horsham, and the coast including Worthing, Littlehampton, and Brighton, which made getting around really convenient. (Car needed) If you are looking for a quiet countryside escape with stunning surroundings and warm, thoughtful hosts, this place is an absolute gem. We will definitely be back."

"The property is lovely, like a good hotel suite. It was spotlessly clean and there were lots of clean towels. Lots of plug sockets and a good size mirror. The downside was the shower was lukewarm and we couldn't increase the temperature. Also, the communication wasn't great. There was no info about where to collect or leave the key. Nor was there any acknowledgement when we sent details of our arrival time. A coffee machine would have been nice. "

"We had a wonderful short break to Cattlestone Farm to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Despite less than ideal weather we enjoyed a comfortable and luxurious stay and felt truly away from it all. The shepherd’s hut was nicely secluded and felt so private; it’s also set amongst the trees so we felt really connected with nature. The outside space is fabulous and we’d love to come again when it’s not so rainy…The photos don’t do the loveliness of this accommodation justice. Sparkling clean, luxury bedding plus a super comfy bed. It was so stunning and decorated beautifully — as well as offering little touches that made our stay so much easier (eg cling film, oil, salt and pepper, tea and coffee, milk etc.). All your needs are thought of including a torch, matches, candles, fairly lights and ROBES…. The outdoor bath is a true luxury. It was an idyllic getaway!The owner was very accommodating and even helped book a table at the local pub and get us to a booked event at a local vineyard. Any issues with accessing the site seems to be a fault with VRBO communication process. Our advice would be to ensure you check you have all access codes and check in process before you travel as the signal is weak in the area and we had to drive a way to get in contact. We can’t wait to come back. X"
