"Excellent location, cozy, clean and comfortable!"

"Julie is a great host! Very responsive and helpful. She even went above and beyond to locate a light jacket that was accidentally left behind and mailed it to us! Cabin is basic and rustic, as accurately described in the listing. Perched directly on the riverbank with nice water views and a cozy fire pit complete with split wood to burn. We spent most of our time (other than sleeping) outdoors, eating our meals at the picnic table or in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the river. Also rented...

"I am a local Holland resident but rented this place for some extended family that came into town. The village of cabins is darling. Very wooden and serene. This particular cabin that they stayed in was great! Furnished nicely, and my family said the beds were VERY comfortable, which isn’t usually the case and especially meaning full for the 60+ age group 😆 I will definitely rent this place again in the future!"

"My mom, sister, and I had a wonderful time at this quiet little cottage! The screened porch was lovely, and we enjoyed watching the family of deer walk by throughout the day. We loved going into downtown Douglas for dinner. The owner was very kind and responsive, and provided everything we needed. We could not have had a nicer time!"

"Property is clean. Large space. We have stayed at kingfisher cove several times. It use to be where they would have wood for us for the fireplace and communication was with a human. They now use AI for communication and they no longer leave wood. The ice maker doesn’t work- just a note. For the price and the distance from going to town etc we will be checking out other options for our next stay."

"This is our second year staying at this cabin for New Year's. Overall the stay was enjoyable, just as good as the previous year. One major thing that put a damper on the experience was the constant scritching of a mouse in the walls/ceiling of one of the upstairs bedrooms, disturbing the sleep of the occupants. I recommend contacting someone to check for an infestation. Otherwise very positive, may return again."

"This stay started off decent. The screen on the front door was broken. Not a big deal because the front door wasn't going to be open at all as it was November. We dropped off our stuff inside after a long drive, went to dinner, got back sort of late so we hit the hot tub which was full of sand, went to bed. "We had a great time at 11 Acres! It was very clean which is my main concern when renting for the first time. The linens could use a bit of an upgrade, towels, sheets and such but we made do. Kitchen as great and we LOVED the music system. We did puzzles, colored and read books. It was just what we needed and the location was perfect for exploring new small towns."
