I’ve found that in places like Richmond and other southern cities, rooms are typically more spacious and better equipped, often including conveniences like coffee makers and cups. Up north, those extras are often sold separately, and coffee usually means heading to a local café or the lobby. This stay was a refreshing change. The staff was helpful, with 24-hour front desk support, and the room was clean and comfortable, featuring a large bed and a balcony with a pool view. At $800 for five nights, it felt like a great value. The weather was pleasant during my visit, and the quiet, late-night moments by the pool added a relaxing and memorable touch to the experience."

"I was only there for a short visit. The checkin was very efficient and the room was fine for what I was looking for. Not for a long stay but if you need a place to stay while driving south, it is good."

"The property was fine, but the front desk staff never told us that parking was an additional $20/day + tax. He simply handed us the parking pass. (This was AFTER our room was not ready at the promised check in time of 4pm. We had to wait almost 2 hours to get into our room.) Nor was the parking fee outlined on our reservation confirmation email from Wxpedia nor the email from Marriott. When I spoke to the manager about it, her reply was, “It’s on our website and all the booking sites. I know because I manage them. It’s also written on the parking pass.” That all may be true but it’s not obvious, and requires the guest to seek it out. We would have selected an alternative parking option with no fee vs. paying the fee. This is unacceptable. As a longtime guest at many of their properties, I expect better from Marriott."

"Since being here the staff here is wonderful very helpful the housekeepers do a great job cleaning the rooms maintenance keep the property clean it's pet friendly parking here is great and if you feel like shopping the bus is near by"

"The room was clean and serviceable, but no dressers for our clothes. Housekeeping was non existent for the 4 nights we were there. Breakfast was decent. Plumbing maintenance was lacking, as the shower hose leaked profusely. So all in all... a clean, quiet, affordable place to stay, but nothing to write home about."
