"Depending which room you stay some (with balconies) can feel contested.We were lucky to get relocated to a bigger room. Comfortable location with street parking options aveilable. The pool did have a strong chlorine smell which I did not like this can be improvement and made more natural options with less chlorine. The food at Novotel was ok pricy with small portions outdoors better options"

"Very clean rooms and comfortable bed. The kitchenette in the connecting room was extremely small though, just enough space for one person at a time to be in the space. Nice and quiet location. Nice indoor pool and spa, definitely recommended! "

"We have stayed here before and has great location and in house amenities. Room was spacious and bed good. Lots of little things needed maintenance in the room this time. There were 3 lifts, but most of weekend only 1 was operating so long waits. Others were not out of action, just not turned on. On site parking is available for $35/night, but not guaranteed. A Sat night function took up a lot of parking and left little for guests. There are extensive long term road works directly in front of hotel making vehicle abd pedestrian access tricky. Some GPS' do not allow for that. Google Maps does. Ate in restaurant for dinner - variable quality food.Excellent breakfast and lunch spot directly across from back of hotel, Mocan and Green Grout. Also 24/7convenience store, and an expensive wine and food bar Rebel Rebel across the road."

"Having parking in inner area is a plus The room service lady was most helpful The room are clean and tidy if a bit run down The bathroom should have a warning “No chubby people” though. Clean but cramped. Overall for the position and the price it was fine Will stay again."

"Room door didn't close properly - it was open when I checked in. Shower leaks all over bathroom floor. Television remote if awful. Lots of traffic noise from Northbourne Avenue. Great location, room clean and spacious, bed comfortable, nice staff."

"Location was great for what we needed, with adequate parking. The buffet breakfast was good but some days it was very busy and guests struggled to find somewhere to eat. The room was OK but freshened up one day and not the next. Supplies weren't checked as there was an empty tissue box, no tea bags in the room and we had to ask for toilet paper. Staff though were very accommodating and prompt."
