"The location was fantastic; you can walk to pretty much anything if you want to. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The first room we received was in poor condition and had several issues (plugs didn't work, fridge went out, bedside table missing, blind broken). We notified the front desk the next day and we were moved to what appeared to be a much nicer (updated) room. Once we moved rooms, we didn't really have any other issues, except that they sink in the new room wouldn't drain. It wasn't a huge issue for us, though, because we were staying a very short time, so we didn't report it. The hotel is older, so I didn't expect it to be pristine, and overall, for the price and location, it was a great place for a short beach getaway."

"Kitchen was well stocked but take a pair of kitchen shears as there were none. Layout worked great for our kids and grandkids! 8 adults and 7 kids. Community pool was very nice and the Gulf private beach is close and wonderful. Loved the outdoor showers and the pool and 1 at the home to get the salt and sand off. About a mile walk up the beach gets you to the Bon Secur refuge trail system. "

"Unit was beautiful. Very clean. Lots of bath towels! Very spacious for family. Loved that there was a hose at bottom of stairs outside to wash feet after a trip to the beach. We enjoyed being able to see the ocean from the front porch. "
