Schon die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war reibungslos, die E-Mails wurden schnell und freundlich beantwortet, und auch die Übergabe hat perfekt funktioniert.Besonders angenehm ist, dass jedes Doppelzimmer über ein eigenes Bad verfügt. "We were in one of the suites which was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental, of good quality and variety although we did not know the kitchen cooked eggs to order until the last morning. Our main issue was staff helpfulness. Staff were generally good but we had a real issue with the attitude of the hotel manageress. On our first night we booked into the restaurant and were shown to a table. Some minutes later the manageress advised this was booked by someone else which wasn't an issue as we were dining with friends one of whom is disabled and may have had an issue with the table allocated. I was trying to explain this and looking for a better option when she turned her back on me and started a conversation with someone else. Our German guests also encountered her on arrival and were not impressed with her manner or attitude which they felt was due to the fact she thought they were English. On our last night our room had not been serviced when we returned from our day out at 4pm. We approached the receptionist to report this and she was using the computer next to the manageress who made eye contact with me and then carried on doing what she was doing rather than ask how she could help. I waited a minute and then had to interupt to report the issue. Even when we returned later it had not been done and I had to stand at reception arguing with her before the matter was resolved.We paid a great deal of money to stay here but this level of service is not acceptable ."
