Honeycrisp Glamping Pod- Free Wi-F, Hot Tub

This beautifully styled glamping pod nestles in rural Somerset just a short drive from Wells and is the perfect pad for couples looking to escape to the area's unspoiled countryside.

Honeycrisp's contemporary design creates a really gorgeous space for relaxing breaks away with a loved one, and features an outside deck with wood-fired hot tub, as well as furniture and a firepit / barbecue for fresh air dining. A sprawling lawn to the front of the pods rolls down towards the River Axe, so if you like to start the morning with a dip in the hot tub you'll be hard pressed to find a more idyllic setting for it. Inside, there's plenty of space to get comfy in, with a lounge area and TV, dining nook, thoughtfully-equipped kitchenette, shower room and bedroom.

Just a 10 minute walk away, the Pheasant Pub (a favourite in the area) is a terrific place to while an afternoon or two away with good food and drink, or for those who don't mind a short drive, The Ring O'Bells and The Burcott are also close by. A wealth of nature-infused attractions such as Wookey Caves (about 8 minutes' drive), Cheddar Gorge, and Kilver Court and Gardens (both about 20 minutes) lie within easy reach, while Wells with its cathedral, shopping, restaurants and heritage sites, is the perfect day out. There are also several good beaches in the area including Burnham-on-Sea (with Britain's shortest pier) which is about 30 minutes' drive away, and the pebbly Kilve which is a little over an hour's drive.

Relaxing

Lovely place for relaxing.I enjoy every minute the pods are very well maintained and there is everything inside.The hot tub was fabulous I used every day.I did BBQ and I enjoyed . Matt was really helpful if you need help just get in touch with him. Definitely I recommend this place

Perfect luxury getaway

We absolutely loved our time at Apple Tree - our cabin was better than we expected! The welcome note and drink were a lovely touch. The hot tub and fire pit were excellent - even though we were sandwiched between two cabins, we still felt we had privacy to enjoy the hot tub and views. Matthew was a great host and was nice for him to drop by and check how we were doing. The perfect home away from home - would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Apple Tree Glamping. The pod was comfortable and clean, and the farm is absolutely beautiful. It's a great location, just a short drive to Wells, Wookey Hole etc. Matt was a great host, very friendly and always available to answer any questions. Would highly recommend ATG!

Lovely staycation

Had such a lovely weekend at Appletree! Pod was clean, cosy and has everything you need! Wood fire hot tub was lovely. Super quiet and peaceful. Owners were nice and accommodating- would not of hesitated to have contacted them if we needed anything! Would defiantly love to hook up again with some friends

Perfect!

We had a fantastic weekend at Apple Tree Glamping. The location was beautiful, easy to find and despite being so close to others units, (and the farm animals!) felt very private. The unit itself was clean, warm and comfortable, and the hot tub was a wonderful way to watch the sunset, although be warned; if you want to use it straightaway it is worth paying for the team to set it up for your arrival, as it took a few hours for the wood burning stove to heat the water before we could use it. If you're looking for a quiet peaceful, base to explore Somerset, Apple Tree Glamping is it.

Beautiful, peaceful birthday retreat.

Booked this place for me and my boyfriend for my 23rd birthday and we absolutely loved it! I would recommend booking directly with them, we added the hamper option which provided us enough breakfast to last our entire trip (added this via an option along with rose petals on the bed! The owners Matt and Vicky also have a farm across from the river and you can go over, look around and meet all of the animals. We also met Matt and Vicky they was lovely, very friendly and sociable which made us feel really relaxed! Hot tub was amazing, if you enjoy start gazing this place has no light pollution so it’s a beautiful sky at night They also provided loads of information in your pod about the area and places to visit! Overall we loved it! We will be back

Amazing Stay

We went for a last minute get away and the lodge was amazing. We paid for our hot tub to be heated up which was a really good option. The host is so nice and it was lovely to have all the chickens, ducks and pigs just across from the lodge. Having the outdoor cooking option was great!

Wonderful long weekend

Really lovely weekend with my partner only problem is we could not get the hot tub to heat up but as we were only there for the weekend we wasn’t that fussed, other then that it was a beautiful setting and lovely grounds would defrosting go back.
