Find a Great Motel Wellington

"Made the right decision to rent this house! About 45 minutes to Yosemite and minutes from Bass Lake. We spent a lot of time on the front porch in the evenings. The outdoor kitchen and back yard was great too. Played a lot of outdoor games. Kids loved the hammocks. Quick response when we had questions. It was pretty hot the first day and the upstairs bedroom was warm. I asked if there was a fan, there wasn’t but there was one on the porch when we got back from the park. Some flew in early in the day. We couldn’t check in early as they were cleaning from the last visitors. They did allow us to drop off our groceries and put our cold stuff away. Thanks to other reviews we came prepared for mosquitos. We had 2 thermocells and they made being outside possible. The only disappointment, the kids really wanted to see a bear but had to settle for deer, turkey, quail, coyote and multiple species of birds. Strongly recommend this place. "

"This was a lovely place for a few nights in Bridgeport. The room was clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed (coffee maker and fridge were great to have). The bathroom was a little small for me (I'm rather tall), but it was manageable. I loved that they offered eco friendly soap dispensers instead of single-use bath products. My only complaint would be that the air conditioner was really loud, but I barely heard any noise transfer from the rooms next to me. Overall, a great family owned and operated place, and I would happily stay here again!"

"Friendliest staff I’ve run into at a hotel in ages! Easy to walk to the main drag in Bridgeport and right on the road to Twin Lakes. Easy access to two gas stations as well. Would definitely stay here again should the chance come up. "

"We had two small children with us so we chose the motel style room, and used the picnic table area to set up our camp stove for dinner and breakfast. The camp kitchen also had a microwave which was very handy! Upon arrival, we got a welcome bag with a smores kit and fish food for the trout tanks. At first I thought the room was pricey but then I realized what it’s worth - watching my kids giggle while the fed the fish, making smores next to the ricer and then getting our feet wet, playing lawn games for hours! It was so much more than just a place to spend the night, it was a place to just be. "
