"My wife (Becs) & I stayed here at the same time in October 2024 & back then it did not disappoint. Martin & Rikki go above and beyond to make ones stay a peaceful & rested one. The whole abode is spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well equipped. They provide enough logs for the wood burner to last 2-3 nights. The comfort levels are top draw and the shower is absolutely wonderful. We wish we could take it home with us. This is our second time staying at this lovely barn conversion and it won't be our last.Just a shame we had to leave. Cannot recommend staying here enough. The reviews speak for themselves.RegardsJohn & Becs x"

"This is the second time we have been to this cottage as we loved it the first time round. This time we noticed it wasn’t very clean in terms of really dusty cabinets and a lot of dust/webs down the side of the beds. All the linen was lovely and clean, but things like the decorative pillows and sofas were all covered in stains and looking a bit worse for wear. The driveway and entrance to the house was in desperate need of some TLC, all looked very tatty which is a massive shame as we love this house and location. A bit of a refresh needed!"

"Beautiful location,down some narrow lanes,but may be an issue for some as not particularly close for a pub.Supermarkets are about a 20/25 minute drive to Asda/Aldi but can’t fault the peace & quiet.Host/owners very nice.Cottage lovely with everything you need,quality furnishings & fittings & a welcome pack on arrival & enough room to move around.Also nice decking area for good weather.Couldn’t have asked for better"

"Lovely cottage to stay in, the area is rural and beautiful - ideal for walkers and sightseeing in north Devon and/or Cornwall.The accommodation was so clean and tidy, everything you could ask for and more! The hosts are lovely as well.Fantastic pub in the village, which we ate in every night after a day out, then back to the cottage.We will be back!!"
