Property was a little older but really cozy and perfect for our family of 6 for the holidays. Living space and bedrooms were great. Doors and floors are aged but it's charming. Loved the hot tub, gas firepit, and location to shenandoah. Attentive host as well!
HH has everything you need....great location close to SNP, comfy beds, a firepit for reminiscing and a hot tub for those hiking aches. Very well stocked kirchen supplies for makjng dinners and we loved the game room. Mack and crew are on top of it all, good communications.
My husband and I stayed at the property with our daughters age 3 and 1. We loved our stay and loved the house! We spent a lot of time in Shenandoah NP and the entrance is about 15 minutes from the house. We loved the town of Waynesboro as well and there we several fun restaurants, breweries and parks that were very close. There's a cute natural playground that my girls loved! We also went to several wineries in the area. Overall we had a very relaxing and very enjoyable stay!
The house is old but looks newly painted inside. It boasts a good size kitchen, dining room and 4 double bedrooms. There is a first floor bedroom if someone can’t walk the stairs. We used the screened side porch a lot and the hot tub every night. The only thing needed to enjoy outside hot tub are lights for the stairs to the deck. Close to Blue Ridge Parkway and 20 minutes from Charlottesville.
Very comfortable home away from home. I loves the side porch to look out over the trees, and proximity to many interesting places especially the Basic City Brewery and Sip City, and mountains.
