Mercure Newcastle George Washington Hotel Golf and Spa
The lady on reception was lovely, her name Larysa and she upgraded my sister and I to a prestige room with dressing gowns, slippers, a king size bed, complimentary drinks in the fridge, chocolate cinder toffee and a coffee machine, lovely touches and thank you so much!

Delta Hotels by Marriott Newcastle Gateshead
The room heating/cooling system was not affective. The pillows were uncomfortable and the mattress gave myself and my husband a bad back in the morning. The shower pressure was also terrible. The room was dated.
