Riggs Washington DC
Everything about the Riggs was delightful except the bar. The service was extremely slow with indifferent service. The room was great, check in was fast and friendly, and the front desk was extremely helpful. We will stay there again, but the bar really was pretty bad.

Washington Plaza Hotel
Very kind and helpful staff. Kudos to the bellman Ali. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean and lobby very pleasing. Lots of staff at the desk so did not have to wait in line to check in or check out. The hotel is in a beautiful area of Washington and close enough to walk to all the sites.
