This is the perfect place for a family. The continental breakfast is excellent with many options for all eating preferences. Indoor pool and hot tub were a great place to rest between sightseeing.

The area is safe, I would say even at night. The Metro is about a 3-4 minute walk which makes it easier to go anywhere once you get familiar with the area map. The hotel staff was really nice and helpful, from the front desk to the breakfast staff. The breakfast was ok, pretty much everyday was the same and they did not serve bacon any of the days (we stayed for 6 days). The room was clean and spacious. The only reason o give 4 stars it’s because the furniture, appliances and kitchen need an urgent update. For the price paid I would’ve expected a more high-end room. I’ve stayed at other Residence Inns in the past and they’re usually more upscale. Definitely needs a facelift. The pool was warm and full of kids running amoc, the jacuzzi was full of bubbles but there was some dirt in there? Overall, I would recommend the hotel.

Our family of 4 just finished a trip to DC and stayed here. The room was plenty big, and we appreciated having a full kitchen. We loved the convenience of walking around the corner to the Metro stop, but also being close enough to walk to the National Mall if we chose. The breakfast offerings were varied, plentiful and delicious. The real star of this property is the staff: Patricia and the rest of the dining room staff are the friendliest you'll ever meet. My daughter and I were in the lobby at 3:00 (thanks, insomnia!) and Alfred gave us some pizza! My only issues were with the pool area: the door was incredibly squeaky and there were drain flies all over the wall by the shower. Despite mentioning this twice to the front desk staff, it remained unhandled. Other than that, it was a great stay.

great property for a family with kids. The breakfast and breakfast staff are amazing. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel was very accommodating. When we checked in, they didn't have a crib available. They went out and purchased on for us. Amazing service.

Good neighborhood with NASA offices across the street. Easy to walk to the smithsonian museums. Parking was under hotel and easy. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was delightful and well stocked with many options. Staff was very friendly.

This is our second stay at this property. The staff is always incredibly nice and accommodating. The included breakfast is a true breakfast. Not just cereal and muffins. If I had one complaint it would be that our room was hot (some might disagree). The temp in the room never changed despite ne lowering it on the thermostat.

Great place to stay! Affordable, good breakfast. The metro is 5 min walk away. Only observation is there was no hand soap and that the dining options walking distance are limited. Also no grocery store at walking distance. Nothing bad to say about my stay! Would stay here again.

Everyone at the hotel was very helpful, friendly & knew about things to do & places to eat. The room was very spacious with a little kitchenette, a sofa bed and a desk space too. Plenty of places in the room to charge your phone. The free breakfast was pretty good and a good variety of food to chose from.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff was amazing, Nahif was wonderful checking us in(so professional, pleasant and great at multitasking). Ms Felicia was so helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable except the pillows(to me) had a musty smell. Easy walk to the National Mall.
