Good location, large space, but a little gross.

This apartment is in a great location in Crystal City. It is a large space and can sleep quite a few people comfortably. The down side was the condition of the apartment and building. Looks like there hasn’t been much money committed to keeping the apartment looking clean and comfortable. Gross rugs, hairs in the bathrooms, tiny TVs and really outdated. One or more apartments close by must have residents smoking cannabis all day and night. We could always smell it in the shared spaces of the apartment, but fortunately we couldn’t smell it in the bedrooms.

Way to hot

When we got there at 4:30 pm we checked in room was at 80 degrees turned air on came back it was 86 degrees. Called them nothing they can do so they brought us fans. Most nights above 75degrees when we went to bed. Coming from Idaho where it’s 30 degrees was really uncomfortable for us to stay at. Contacted customer care they said they would get back to us haven’t heard a word. If the building hasn’t turned on a/c and your coming in the spring, stay in a hotel so you have control of the temperature

One of the worst places I've ever stayed at through VRBO

We chose this apartment to visit our son who is in Marine Corp training at Quantico. We wanted to splurge on an upscale place where we could all kick back and relax. I was very excited from the pictures of this place. To say we were disappointed is an extreme understatement. This place was NOTHING as advertised. It was dirty (hair ball on the living room floor, marks all over the walls, balcony was sticky from something spilled, dirty coffee cup in the cupboard, something splattered on the outside of the fridge & dining table, part of a cigarette carton in the freezer and multiple stains on the carpet). Not to mention the furniture was cheap and busted - literally. There were patched holes in the walls and the thermostat would not work - it was stuck at 77 degrees. We had to keep leaving the door to the balcony open to cool it down. We also found stains in the bed. I tried to contact the number they gave as a contact and sent pictures of everything we had found wrong but heard not one word. The final straw was receiving an email from them after our stay that said the following... We would really appreciate if you could write a review for us and if you could give us maximum points in the website where you have made your booking. In return, we will give you 10% discount on your future bookings with us. Absolutely tone deaf and infuriating!
