We stayed in the bungalow for a ceremony at Arlington cemetery, and made side trips to the mall and stadium. Had a great time. The house was in a nice location, clean, with a hot shower. Highly recommend.
This location checked all the boxes for us. It’s a short drive into the city, walking distance to restaurants and shops, very nice, modern and clean housing, and a place we can bring our dog. Would definitely come back again!
Three brothers and their wives stayed here for their other brother’s 50th wedding anniversary. We had party at local restaurant. Before party we went to Arlington Cemetery as it was a 5 minute drive. We had such a great time, bungalow was a perfect size.
Perfect place for us to stay while we attended a service at Arlington National Cemetery. Very clean, quiet and nice and cool inside. Thank you to Jackie for responding quickly to my question! Appreciated having a parking spot on the property as well.
The proximity to Arlington National Cemetery is perfect for those visiting loved ones, as well as gaining entry into DC proper. The well to the east gate of Ft Meyer’s is less than 5 minutes and access to shopping and restaurants is a very short drive. The kitchen is fully equipped as well as the bedrooms. Great lighting throughout the day. The bathroom has been updated with a fantastic shower. Well worth the stay!
We were a group of 6, my husband and I, my MIL, and our three children ages 12,12 and 6. This home was in such a convenient location, close enough to everything! Perfect to come home and sleep at night and be gone all day visiting the museums. The house is pretty small in size, only one bathroom with great water pressure though! The neighborhood is a little rough looking. I recommend you don’t stay out too late because then you will have nowhere to park. Everyone parks in the street and blocks the street, making it impossible to drive through to get to the house and the street is a one way. Convenient access to the base with the commissary being like a 5 minute drive!
Nice space, mattresses pretty good, kitchen really nice, & two car parking. Thank you for the complimentary coffee, tea bags, sweetener, sugar, & creamers.
My friends and I (a group of 5) stayed at this property for a weekend while visiting DC. The location is great, just a 5 minute drive to the Lincoln memorial. The place was clean, comfortable and had a fully equipped kitchen so we could save by cooking our breakfast and enjoy a quiet time as well. I definitely recommend staying here!
House was great! Went to DC for the weekend and the house in a great location. It’s clean and gave us plenty of space. I really appreciate that the host that left ample supplies like garbage bags, soaps and dishwasher pods. The road is a little tight and it was blocked once by someone picking up an order from the restaurant on the corner but driveway was big enough to keep our cars off the straight. We would definitely rent again.
The house had all the main necessities, but it needs a little bit of TLC. The carpets in the living and dining areas probably need to be replaced due to stains, and there was some paint peeling in the bathroom. We could have benefited from some dish towels which we found still damp in the dryer on our last day there. Generally it was a cute place in a good location. It was just more expensive than I would have expected given the condition.
Fantastic location for a visit to either Washington DC or Arlington National Cemetery. The cottage is 30 seconds from Ft Myers’ South Gate. A half mile from shopping and a wonderful Celtic pub. The kitchen is excellent and the shower has real force to it. Rooms are spacious and full of light We will be back next year!
The bungalow was very very nice! I don’t remember reading about online subscriptions for the tv, but easy problem to fix for the handful of times we watched tv. There was an obscene amount of construction on the street, but what are you going to do. Close to everything I needed and the highway. Communication for any questions or issues were addressed immediately and we really appreciate that!! Definitely recommend and will stay again!

Very average stay
The bungalow was cute and in a good location but it did have many eyesores for the price we ended up paying. Check in was a little bit of a hassle and the door code provided was not correct. The owners responded within about 15 minutes with the correct code but neither immediately answer their phone when trying to call upon arrival. The gate to the back yard seemed like it was about to fall off. The inside of the house was nice, however, there were broken glass decorations, the refrigerator door handle was broken and kept coming off, there was a large black scratch/scuff on the living room wall, water damage and paint peeling in the bathroom, the carpet had an incredible amount of staining so I’m not really sure where the cleaning fee goes because we also had to run the dishwasher and pull our linens off of all of the beds. The area was quiet but there is major construction going on so the weekday mornings were a little noisy.
