The property was beautifully clean and the staff that we saw were lovely.
Unfortunately there were a few things that were disappointing.
Reception was supposed to be open until 9pm, at about 6.15 I received a text to say the office was closed and there were instructions with how to get into the property. That was ok but when we got there, there was no milk available to make a cup of tea and despite it being 7pm so we could not pop into reception to get some.Didn't worry about it too much because we thought it would be put in in the morning.
Walls are paper thin, on the first night my husband was kept awake by the neighbour having a conversation with his phone on speaker.So he could hear two sides of a very long and ongoing conversation.
You could also hear the neighbours every movement.So I am sure both neighbours would have been equally disturbed by our snoring!
TheTV in the room was old, the remote worn.Tricky to get it to work.Many channels unavailable, so we decided to use our Chromecast to stream a movie. Didn't work either,until we hot spotted from our phone.When it was connected to the hotel's internet,the chromecast and our phone were unable to "talk" to one another. As if there was some kind of restricted internet. Maybe we had not set it up correctly.
We did not know there would be no housekeeping. So we had wet towels and no milk the following day. We would have liked to have been made aware of this.
Little things altogether that made a disppointing stay.
