"This place is a gem! Perhaps our favorite of 6 places along the Queensland coast. Super-quiet, very modern, like a cabin in the woods, on the beach! Steps from a gorgeous long stretch of beach (no one on it in late July), nice plunge pool, good amenities, although not a full kitchen. (Who knew you could microwave salmon?) There is a cart for luggage, 2 minutes’ walk to the property. So private yet 5 minutes from restaurants. We will be thinking of it months from now. "

"The staff were friendly and really made the trip. Everywhere was clean and the gardens beautiful. My only issue was the food, looked pretty but I didn't think it compared to the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was good but not such a fan of the dinner menu."

"Recently renovated traditional motel style room was very comfortable. Tastefully decorated and everything was new. Great to park directly outside the room and walk in with no stairs. Nice big bathroom with toiletries supplied. Big smart TV. Good wifi. "

"What a great motel this is. The rooms that we had were great. Beds were excellent and the bathroom nice and modern. It was the best motel we stayed in on our trip and we stayed in four others. The restaurant does good food. Just as well as so many places in Cardwell were closed. The ocean villas that they have available look fantastic. Just one thing that does need sorting out and that is the internet it regularly dropped out. Not great for teenagers and parents trying to appease them. Get that sorted out and you e got a diamond. "

"The house is as advertised with a high standard of fit out and genuinely pet friendly, our young dog loved it and so did we. The location is convenient and quiet and Melissa was a great host."
