The barn cottages were lovely, well equipped and comfy. Could do with a little better signage on arrival....glad we didn't arrive in the dark. Pool towels, shower gel, washing up liquid and cloths provided were really appreciated. Nice communal barn with games and washing machine. Didn't use the pool but was available. Loved the parking that was included to visit durdledoor ( an inclined walk back up for the less fit or able), lulworth and the castle. Handy little shop on site but is a fair drive to get to a decent size supermarket that stocks what you may want. Didn't love the local eating options...fine if you just want burger, pizza or fish and chips. Really liked corfe and the pubs there. The steam railway is worth going on. Really liked Lyme Regis and liked Swanage. Weymouth we were not too keen on. Not worth the money to visit the blue pool ( basic woodland walk with a rope bridge but I think children would like the fairies trail and play area) some great walking trails around.
