"This hotel is really just several rooms for rent without anyone onsite. Rooms do not have air conditioning, and amenities are sparse. The location is close to the heart of town but the alley pretty noisy with crowds at night and delivery trucks morning. "
"Staff was very accommodating. Room was comfy and warm. Not updated to look modern but instead retains its ambience. Breakfast was very nice. Walking distance to central Oxford. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."
"Very good value for money. Clean and comfortable place. Staff very helpful. I called them on the phone for a query and they answered immediately and were really helpful. "

"My room on the fourth floor came with a balcony which was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine after dinner. I really appreciated all the small details like fresh milk in the fridge for my morning coffee. Will stay again!"
"Everything was excellent. Julie was so helpful, she stored our luggage until the 3pm check in time, and got us extra pillows and refreshed linens (some of the linen was not quite clean). The breakfast was wonderful with so many choices. Ancila was so friendly and made us feel special, making vegan sausage especially for us and even bringing it out to the table - above and beyond. The whole staff was helpful, energetic and caring. The room was clean, comfortable and had a pull out trundle twin so 3 of us could have our own beds. It was a little tight with the trundle pulled out, but it was very comfortable. I wish it had a refrigerator, iron, a shower cap, shampoo and conditioner. The location was ideal, right next the mall in city centre, making it accessible to many things. The only request i have is to be more flexible with the check in time, if the room is ready, there is no need to charge to check in 1 hr early. Also, when we checked out, there was no room to hold our luggage, which was quite inconvenient. However, we were offered to keep our bags in the restaurant area (at our own risk) which was closed so we felt quite safe with this option. We appreciated the option to do so. I also wanted to comment that the decor was wonderful, the purple sofas and color scheme made my stay that much more enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again happily. "
"The owner said he tried to tell us about the construction by the railroad and asked that guests get the information before they arrive. He was wonderful and our stay was too but it would have helped to know how to get there. We were very confused. "
"Location was fabulous for our purposes and in general for access for city centre Oxford. We walked everywhere with no destination more than 8 minutes away."
