"The cabin is exactly as listed, very cozy, quiet and clean. The kids loved the beds in the attic. A path leading to the lake right outside of the cabin. Due to extreme dry conditions and wildfire which was out of anyone’s control, we weren’t able to enjoy outside that much, plus we stayed only one night. A peaceful place, would be a great place for a weekend getaway."

"When we first arrived we were greeted by one of the owners family members. She was very friendly and gave us information on the area and things to do. I love the small town hospitality! The cabin had all that we needed for a relaxing few days. The only issue we had were the beds. The queen was a very firm mattress and not the most comfortable to sleep on. The 2 doubles in loft were also not comfortable as one was too firm and the other you could feel the bars underneath. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. We road our bikes one of the days from the cabin to Stake Lake. That was a really nice trail around the lake. We did about 15 km but the trails were endless. I highly recommend you check it out. We had family staying the provincial campground so it was close enough to ride our bikes or load up the car and head to the beach. We enjoyed the beach every day even though it was a bit smoky but we had fun floating around. We used the indoor pool on our last night and enjoyed having a family water volleyball game . A perfect way to end our stay!"
