"It was an ok stay but I’m traveling with my 83 y/o father and handicapped access isn’t the greatest The room was clean and we both enjoyed a nights sleep on a very comfortable mattress and the pillows were 👍 My biggest issue was the blatant abuse of the non smoking rules. Across the hall was party central and the smell of cannabis got so bad that I had to attend the front desk. I smoke cigarettes and I respect the policy in place, why can’t the potheads do the same."

"Comfortable beds and nice linens. Love the walk in shower and great towels. Quiet room and easy parking. Friendly staff too. The breakfast is great start to the day, good variety of foods and beverages!"

"The Pros were the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, welcoming. We had a two day stay and our room was located in the atrium right off the lobby. Great location, my daughter and I were steps from the pool. The cons were some issues with cleanliness. If I’m nitpicking, there were some cleanliness stuff, like I found candy on the floor that had been missed from a prior guest. That was not a big deal. The bigger issue for me was that my room had a fruit fly infestation. Every time I went into the bathroom I killed at least 3, and there more every time I went back. They were by the doors, settled onto our food within minutes of coming to the room. I’m pretty sure the infestation was due to the humidity and proximity to the pool, but it was not very good."

"When we first arrived we were greeted by one of the owners family members. She was very friendly and gave us information on the area and things to do. I love the small town hospitality! The cabin had all that we needed for a relaxing few days. The only issue we had were the beds. The queen was a very firm mattress and not the most comfortable to sleep on. The 2 doubles in loft were also not comfortable as one was too firm and the other you could feel the bars underneath. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. We road our bikes one of the days from the cabin to Stake Lake. That was a really nice trail around the lake. We did about 15 km but the trails were endless. I highly recommend you check it out. We had family staying the provincial campground so it was close enough to ride our bikes or load up the car and head to the beach. We enjoyed the beach every day even though it was a bit smoky but we had fun floating around. We used the indoor pool on our last night and enjoyed having a family water volleyball game . A perfect way to end our stay!"
