A little difficult to find if you are walking, but the owner was lovely, and went out of his way to help me and my friend. The hotel itself was very comfortable, good wifi and a comfortable shared space.

Highly recommended, the workers are very helpful, very fluent in English…. Easy access to shops and City Mall.

Great temple inn, close to Okonuin yet easy walk to town centre. Friendly monks with great food. The morning prayers and fire ritual is a plus, and do take the night tour of Okonuin. We were in the new block which was very spacious and comfortable albeit walls are thin.

Great property to stay at, our family chose to stay here to be close to the airport train when returning to Australia.

Within walking distance to Ritsumeikan University, which is excellent for someone who arrives early for SKP, a day or two early before the move in date of your accommodation like I did. Our traditional Japanese room was minimally furnished, just futons and tatami mats, but it was all we needed for a good night’s rest. The kitchen, bathroom and toilet were all very clean and well maintained.

Only two stations (15 minutes by train) from Kansai airport, so including the walk to the station you can be there in less than 30 minutes - that's the main attraction of the place - but the area itself is quite dead, aside from the cute covered shopping area between the guesthouse and the station.
