"Lovely space in Giles! The horses were so beautiful to look at! The RV smelled sooo good! I wanna know what they use! It was a perfect little space super close to Mountain Lake Lodge, Cascades, gorgeous hikes! The drive alone to the RV was country paradise! We saw so many different animals. Just a wonderful little spot with a great host! The RV is decorated so perfectly and the outdoor space is adorable and a great place to relax!! 10/10"

Looking for a Country Getaway – Close to Virginia Tech? Big Fenced Yard for Pets

"This was our 5th stay at this beautiful place. We love everything about it! It is quiet and peaceful and feels very far away - but we can get to downtown Blacksburg in 15 minutes. It is very close to lots of great hiking places. The fenced in area is perfect for dogs (just check for deer before you let them out!)The hosts are very easy to communicate with. We had to change our dates at the last minute, and they worked with me to find new dates. We will be back! "

Peaceful Cabin Getaway

"What a relaxing week we had at the cabin. It had everything we needed and although we took time to explore the beautiful area, we really enjoyed hanging out on the front porch reading and watching wildlife. We had our senior dog with us, who loved walking down to the river. Amy couldn’t have been sweeter and when we had a rain storm one evening the power went out temporarily and she was there with extra flashlights and lanterns in no time. If you are looking for a place to really relax and recharge here you go…"

"I enjoyed staying in this clean, attractive hotel with friendly staff. The coffee/tee maker in my room was malfunctioning and I couldn't use it to get tea. It was after hours so the complimentary set up at the entrance was gone. The desk clerk offered to get some for me from supplies downstairs. Check in and out was speedy. I would stay here again."

"I cannot recommend this home enough. I spent a fantastic long weekend here escaping the city fireworks with my dog. We enjoyed the early morning walks and bird watching and relaxing by the river in the afternoon. The house is clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything I needed. I was so sad to leave, and would love to return in the future. The George Washington National Forest is stunning, and this home is the perfect way to experience all of its beauty. "
