"Great hotel, we enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Rooms were clean, 2 pools and hot tubs and loungers were nice. Parking could be a bit of a pain, and the attached restaurant/bar that was on the beach was too expensive, so we found other really great options in Kapaa. "

"What a great stay! The property was very nice along with the room. Matched the photos and descriptions perfectly. Also the location is perfect! Can go to either side of the island relatively quickly with our rental car, but still close to food, shopping and such. Host was very responsive via email and also proactive with information. Made the check in and out process very clear. We were there during a storm and we even received emails from the host (Premier Kauai) giving us the low down on what was going on with the island and safety procedures which made us feel a lot more safe and comfortable. Would gladly return! "

"I was in unit 321 and had a view of the ocean. It was a nice view for a view room. Pros: great location, it is a pretty property right next to the ocean and a 5 mile walking path, next to the marketplace with shops and restaurants, comfortable bed, great amenities that included a microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, utensils, plates, cups, glasses, mini refrigerator, nice big tv, the room was clean, the staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The water may be to rough to swim at that beach but there is a better beach close by that would be good. Cons: the rooms need updating, and maintenance on the paint and bathroom vanity, the lighting is poor, the hand rail on the lanai was thick so I could not see the ocean when I sat outside, "

"Due to an unforeseen storm that closed down, with only last minute (evening prior to reservation) warning, all of Kauai’s state parks and their camping areas, and elicited guidances against camping along the coast altogether, I was unable to actually use the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle refused to acknowledge the uncharacteristic nature of this weather event - citing typical storms that arise around this time of year despite the ferocity and directionality of this storm - and would not issue even a partial refund. He became extremely unresponsive after agreeing to a partial and drew out a negotiation of the amount for weeks after the fact, still refusing to pay. Further, he even failed to respond to an initial inquiry about check-in times within a reasonable time frame. The vehicle based on my inspection appeared run-down, the seats shows visible tears. Perhaps it was for the best that it was not used at all for camping purposes. "
