Same message sent to Carolyn at Alohilani Resord: 1. I paid extra to get better food and we were told to go to the Longboard club to eat, they didn't let us go to the buffet breakfast. Paying more, I should have better choice of food, Longboard club had very limited food choices. 2. The day we were leaving, the bell boys brought our bags out from the storage room and left them in front of their desk, 4 bell boys just busy talking to each other, didn't care that we have 5 luggage pieces, they should offer us help, but no one offered any help to us. Our taxi came, we had to bring our luggage out the door to the taxi, again 3 other bell boys standing at the door busy talking to each other, no one came to help us, we felt that our stay wasn't appreciated at all, even our taxi driver was shocked and said wow, no one helped you guys with the luggage. They were helping everyone else we saw prior to us leaving but they didn't help us. I will never stay at their hotel or recommed it to anyone. I think it was very rude and unprofessional.

Upon check our room wasn’t ready. I said by 3 PM. It was ready an hour later. We were put next to a room with a baby in it. It took Front Desk three hours to change our room. There is no room service. Our room smelled like pot! They forgot about additional housekeeping pillows that we ordered twice. No service at the pool or pool restaurant. we did have an excellent experience with the Front Desk staff. The ladies were very accommodating and friendly. It was also a wonderful location to Waikiki Beach.

Our room is in the corner next to the exit and the maintenance closet. It is also next to the stairs going to the pool. There was loud noises and banging throughout the day. You can't sleep in the morning.

It’s a nice property in a great location, however, it is loud. We had a bad experience with the servicing of our room and called the concierge at 3:30 PM to ask when our room would be cleaned. Rather than saying sorry, they first suggested that we may have had our ‘do not disturb’ out, which was not the case but would advise housekeepingnto come and service the room asap. I called back at 4:30 PM to say that housekeeping had still not showed up, this is just not right and just cancel the housekeeping as we want to move on with our day and that we will put out the DND sign so that there is no confusion. Concierge apologised and advised that housekeeping does take place until 5 PM, but would advise housekeeping right away that we no longer need our room serviced. We received a call from the housekeeping manager saying that they had just come to clean out room, however, there was a DND sign out. When I told him that we had cancelled because it was so late and that concierge was going to let you know, he said that I need you to understand that we clean up until 7 PM. For a 5 start hotel charging what they do per night, there was no accountability whatsoever.

Property was clean and staff was nice but overall just an average place. Nothing special. Pool was area was small and not many amenities. Next time I will pay extra to be on the beach.

Our party of 9 converged to celebrate a milstone and chose what we thought was one of the best hotels. However, the hotel left MUCH to be desired. At 3pm we were told our rooms still weren't ready and we should hang at the pool. After some time in the pool I went to check in. After undressing I turned on the shower to find the tub filling with brown water. I called the front desk upset because I could have been placed in a room that wasn't having this issue and/or informed upon check in which happened moments before. I was told the repairs were nearing completion and after the water had run a few minutes the water would clear. After 10 minutes of the sludge continuing to pour from the pipes I turned off the water, sat on the bed, and fell asleep. When I woke approximately one hour later the water was COLD. A cold shower on day one! There was mold on the shower walls and mold inside the secondary shower head. I was offered a $100 credit for my inconvenience. The bidet spikets were discolored and brownish. Another member of my party woke to a flooded room on day 2. The hallway where a 3rd party member stayed smelled of mold. I booked a spa treatment. Jhaia was amazing! However, the treatment rooms lack sound protection and I could hear the hand dryers being used through a shared wall as well as conversations. I wouldn't stay here again. The staff at the bars and pool were amazing. The hotel is centrally located and right next to the beach, shopping and numerous dining options

We booked an King Ocean view room, however the only rooms with such a view are called front ocean view. We spoke to reception and was advised the room we booked was correct we would need to pay extra and upgrade for an ocean view. The room was noisy from AC and other guests.

We booked an ocean view room however to see the ocean requires leaning around the balcony. Reception advised the room type was correct and the the only rooms with full ocean view are called Front Ocean View? The room AC is very very loud as is the noise in general first night was distributed by street noise and lights and other guests. The cleanliness of the room was poor and not expected at all.

We don’t usually do reviews but I feel compelled to do one on this resort. My wife and I had saved for quite a long time for this vacation only to have it spoiled by hidden fees, sub par parking arrangements, a useless coffee maker and very overpriced tasteless food! But with that being said housekeeping was always on point and we were close to the ocean.

Great lobby and Morimoti restaurant are great. Good location. Rooms were a little disappointing , little being the key word here. Carpet in the halls were worn out and not vacuumed once during our 4 day stay. The pot smoke coming from room 1622 every morning and night was a real bummer, could not go out on the balcony because of tje heavy stench of weed. Staff notified 3 days in a row with no corrective action taken.
