Wonderful countryside getaway in Tuscany

Great agritourism near Volterra, Tuscany (8 km drive). The place is on a secluded hill, surrounded by great views. Very nice outside pool with great view as well. Wonderful, large apartment with kitchen in an old Tuscany building, also hosting a local farm with renowned production of local cheese. Breakfast simple but made of great local produce. I only missed local bread and/or croissants.

Posto davvero bello!

Proprio una bella fattoria, vista spettacolare, mi sono davvero rilassata. Unico piccolo neo, la sera in cui siamo arrivati abbiamo cenato alla fattoria, tutto buonissimo sia chiaro, ma il cuoco non mi ha proposto alcuna alternativa vegetariana, per intenderci i primi erano pasta all'amatriciana, al sugo di coniglio, al sugo di piccione... diciamo che nel 2016 una variante almeno vegetariana anche in Toscana si potrebbe avere... Noi eravamo lì solo per 2 giorni e non abbiamo avuto il tempo neanche di chiedere, ma chissà se fanno delle attività tipo fattoria didattica!

Agrotisimo, working Ag farm that make sheep cheese

This was our first experience and we're already looking forward to going back! The hospitality was awesome, the rooms are comfortable and there's a kitchen to do a little cooking! 5-stars!

Sehr nette Umgebung. Toller Pool. Am Abend kann man ein Mehrgängemenü bestllen - das war wirklich sehr lecker und umfangreich. Leider war der Internetzugang recht eingeschränkt - lediglich auf dem Parkplatz konnten wir das WiFi nutzen.

Fotos können täuschen

Wir hatten eine Suite gebucht. (letztes verfügbares Zimmer). Die Suite hatte eine Whirlpool. Das ganz Zimmer stank nach Abwasser und Chlor. Der allgemeine Pool war völlig ungepflegt. Das Wasser war mit ziemlicher Sicherheit nicht sauber. Es waren viele Insekten und Wasserläufer im Wasser zu sehen. Das übrigen öffentlichen Räume waren sehr einfach aber das war für uns kein Problem. Wichtig ist das es sauber ist. Der Wegweiser am Straßenrand sollte auch die richtige Entfernung zum Bauernhof haben. Die Bürozeiten sind ab 0900 Uhr - was aber nirgends vermerkt ist und so kann der check out schon etwas länger dauern.

Destacamos la amabilidad y magnífico trato que recibimos por parte de todos los trabajadores de la Fattoria. Nuestra estancia en la Toscana coincidió con una ola de calor y después de un largo día de visitas la piscina, abierta incluso durante la noche, hizo nuestras delicias. Lo único que echamos de menos fué el aire acondicionado. En el estudio había un ventilador que resultaba totalmente insuficiente dadas las temperaturas (muy parecidas a las de España). De noche, a pesar de que fuera la temperatura fuese agradable, en el estudio seguía haciendo mucho calor quizás porque debajo del estudio estan las instalaciones dónde producen su reputado queso pecorino con sus numerosas cámaras frigoríficas. Sinceramente creemos que la instalación de aire acondicionado en esos estudios es una necesidad porque, aunque es la única pega que encontramos en nuestra magnífica experiencia,resulta complicado descansar con tan altas temperaturas y perjudica muchíssimo al confort. Por todo lo demás.... un diez.
