"The best parts were the staff and the Villas. The staff - specifically INIA and KOSO - as well as each and every staff member. Made us feel welcome, shared their live experience on Fiji (locals perspective), and remembered what we liked to eat. Also went out of their way to find us transportation to other parts of the island and to adventures we wanted to do. Every person said Bula each time our paths crossed on the property! We think Fijians are wonderful people based on our experience ! We stayed at one of the villas (numbers 101 to 108) that were in front of the pier, and that had its own pool in the front. What a great time! So glad we did this instead of staying in a standard hotel room. We watched the sun set each night, walked along the water to the restaurant 50 meters away, treaded the water near the pier when the tide was in… and played in the pool with our daughter! You will need to arrange for transportation to do adventures outside of First Landing, but they do have a boat that leaves the pier on the property for daily trips to MalaMala and 2 other islands - MUST DO adventures that extend the fun of your time in Fiji. "Something to keep in mind, is that this property is older. If you’re looking for 5** results in an older property you’re going to be dissatisfied. This property is clean, with great room sizes, beautiful views, great staff, good entertainment. The pool is clean and there’s plenty of equipment to borrow. Meals (lunch/dinner) can be on the pricier side, but there are good options a few mins drive away. If you have allergies, speak with the staff. Not many Gluten Free options. The beach is stunning! It’s peaceful! The village nearby is welcoming. Consider going for a walk and exploring the coral reef! A great property for the price! We would be back! "
