"This small hotel was a gem!!! From the moment we arrived, we felt the welcoming and relaxed environment. Candy (and sweet Buddy the cat) got us all checked in. Our room was spotless, had a very islandy vibe and the BEST view. The morning coffee was a nice bonus as we started each day. There are several great restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed the local deli/coffee shop for breakfast and The Frenchtown Bistro and Oceana for dinner. We would definitely stay here again on a future trip. "

"The room wasbeaautiful. Clean and spacious. The room included a smart TV, coffee maker, small refrigerator. The shower is a huge walk-in space. Carol was so helpfully. She arranged taxi service for us, recommended several restaurants that were ithin walking distance. Please do expect a lot of steps on the property and around the area. You are above Charlotte Amalie right next to the 99 Steps. Don't miss a sunset from the roof top pool area. The views are spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay and hope you do as well."

"It’s a property that has charm and character. It’s a beautiful place. The hotel 1829 is a few min walk down some steps nearby and dinner there was amazing. We went back twice just for the cocktails. It was quiet for the most part. We had the pool to ourselves 90% of the time. A 15 min walk got us to shops, a market, bars, etc. If you are blessed, you will have the chance to pet ocho, the sweetest good boy you’ve ever met. I really appreciated the tips and lists they had for us to help us decided the best places to go. If I ever hat the chance to visit again, I would stay here. The owners are kind and helpful. The only thing I would change is the mattress on our bed, it was a bit hard. They have everything you need here to have a good trip. "
