"First, let me start with one that isn't always clear, given the previous reviews. This is NOT a bed and breakfast. There is no breakfast. They apparently stopped doing breakfast over a year ago, and are struggling to get that information out. That being said, this place is amazing for people who are fairly physically fit. The entire town is set on a big hill, and the rooms here are set a fair amount up the hill from the ocean. This allows for great views, and it is a straight downhill trek to shopping and food. If the thought of a few steps doesn't scare you, this is a fantastic location. If the idea of walking up and down a few flights of steps isn't your thing, then this might not be the best place for you. We found that there was reserved parking (if you decide to drive) close to the rooms, and never had an issue finding a spot. The area is gated and they will give you a key, adding an extra layer of safety, which we liked. This place is owned by a husband-and-wife team, and they are absolutely amazing. They allowed us to check in early with no issues, provided us with many tips on places to go, shopping, food, etc. They even helped us book a massage. Finally, the amenities were very good. A nice patio with a pool, which had plenty of seating, sun shades, etc. They had a microwave available and even plates, silverware, and glasses. They had snorkel and beach gear free to borrow as well. We really enjoyed our stay here."

The Westin St. Thomas Beach Resort & Spa

"Stayed for our honeymoon. The property was beautifully positioned on the water with views of the WICO port. The pools were clean and offered sun and shade options. Beach access (at nearby Bouy Haus) was less than ideal, you can visit the beach but there were no amenities for Westin guests (chairs, umbrellas, etc.). We wished there were more private places to just sit and relax, there were two chairs overlooking the beach which we loved but so did other guests. Food options were obviously limited and expensive. Which we knew before we went. We were glad we had a car to venture out, but did have $40/day fees for valet only parking. We did experience low tire pressure on our rental and Valet attendants were able to help us with air. Our garden view room was clean and spacious but we could often hear the family/crying children above us often through the bathroom vent…that was a bummer. Caution: resort has cats that freely roam and while they’re super friendly, it’s odd to see them in the lobby and in the restaurant."

"The view is why you should stay here. The pool and bar are great, lounge chairs need repair. Convenient access to old town. The restaurant is very good but pricey, Sibs up the road is a grea local bar and restaurant. There is NO sign to tell you where to turn to get to hotel. Three stars is a good position for this hotel. Finally, I would NOT return to St. Thomas. There are a lot to see and do but driving the roads wear you out getting there. Go to St. John or St. Croix instead."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Would have liked a microwave in the room and coffee available in the lobby. The sitting area was nice unless there was a boat nearby that gave a diesel smell. Cruise ships did not dock in front of the hotel but further down the dock, so our view was not blocked. Hotel is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the sky-tram which was nice."
