"The hotel is very basic, nothing around , you need to have a car if you want to eat something, they just have small cheap pizza and cheap empanadas, and they charge you a fortune for it, since there is not transportation they offer you a taxi service wich regularly cost 7 usd for a trip to my work and they charge you 23 usd , it’s a place I will never go back"

"Conveniently location if travelling in/out of SCL.
The free transfer service is good and is arranged via WhatsApp for specific times so that there are no long waits.
Bar and restaurant had a good choice of options available.
During the trip, I also stayed a night at the Hilton Garden Inn airport. Wyndham was so much nicer in all ways. The cleanliness of the hotel and amenities and a better organised shuttle bus (they only ran once and hour!). If you’re deciding between the 2, choose the Wyndham."
"Beautiful, spacious, newly renovated apartment in a historic building. Central location: walk to metro stations, Santiago centro, Bellas Artes, Lastarria, Bellavista neighbourhoods etc. There's a coffee and ice-cream shop and a bar just downstairs; small supermarket around the corner. Large, comfy bed plus sofa, armchair and kitchen table. It's fairly soundproofed - there was a market in the street below when I was there, but the noise mostly disappeared with the windows closed. Keycode access is easy and I felt safe.
Bathroom has a nice strong non-leaky shower and large bath sheets (essential!). Kitchen has all the appliances you need but lacked a few essentials (which will be easy fixes) - there were knives but no cutting board, an oven but no oven mitt, dishwashing liquid and sponge but no tea towels. There's also lots of wardrobe space but just a few coathangers.
Note there is inaccurate info displayed on hotels.com before, during & after booking: it says foreign tourists are exempt from Chile's 19% VAT (which isn't included the nightly rate). Yet the property requires the VAT to be paid before providing you with access details, as the exemption apparently only applies to hotels but this is a short-stay rental. So, your booking will end up costing almost one fifth more than the price you select. This misleading info hasn't yet been corrected since I pointed out the issue two weeks ago. It would be better for the tax to be included up front.
Still, a good value stay."
"The location was a disaster we were advised not to go out of the hotel after 7pm and it fell like a prison there is a gym in the building or attached to it and the noise and vibration was really annoying the breakfast was not of the quality and it wasn't fresh the fruit in the basket were rotting I wouldn't recommend the hotel"
"I asked for a desk chair and they didn’t have one, gave me an old uncomfortable chair that didn’t swivel, I asked for an iron and it didn’t work, not hot enough, they say parking included, but you have to walk like 4 blocks it’s not on site. Some of the staff were not welcoming, will never stay here again"
City Express by Marriott Santiago Aeropuerto Chile
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is a gem for a late flight out of Santiago. With breakfast running till 10:30AM and check out of 1PM, plus a well-equipped business center and a cafe, it was easy to pass the time productively while we waited for our time to go to the airport. Credit to consideration for international travelers; both in the room and in the business center, the outlets for the US/EUR plugs were available so we didn't need to use a converter.
Airport shuttles seem to operate 24/7. We got lucky with our pickup because someone must have called it. It was simple to follow the instructions, received a few days in advance, to find the meet up location and we would have followed the instructions to call for one, too.
Breakfast satisfying (bread, eggs, rice, cereal, bread products, juices, fresh fruits, coffee/tea). Amenities thoughtful. No fridge/microwave in the room, but to store my medication they offered their restaurant fridge. Shower pressure and temperature both satisfactory.
The view from the window left much, much to be desired however. We had a "city view" and what we saw was basically the content of a dumpster spread all over - PET bottles, papers, construction materials and whatnot. Perhaps that isn't the hotel's property, but it really was a single sore spot of the whole stay that I had to mention, in case the hoteliers aren't aware of it."
"The facilities, staff, amenities, and cleanliness...I can rate everything as excellent relative to the price. Unfortunately, I only stayed for one night, but I highly recommend the hotel."
