"The house itself was great, well maintained, clean, everything worked. Working gas grill and firewood provided. The Internet service at the house was DSL, very slow. Had a hard time streaming music. The Lake would have some current at times, not all the time. And there was a day with a bit of an oil slick on the water, possibly dam related. We swam and paddle boarded and had a lovely time, nonetheless. We didn't have a boat, that might have been nice for the times when the current was there....

"Stayed 5 nights for a wedding at the state park. FANTASTIC house! Perfect hub for orchestrating the wedding of our son. Space galore. Never felt cramped. Multiple hangout places in the house and marvelous screened-in porch were perfect for small groups and the great room easily accommodated drop in visitors. Stunning property and wonderful views. Beautifully appointed and very well kept. Owners were gracious and prompt in communication. HIGHLY recommended😁"

"We enjoyed our stay it was a cute house and perfect for our large family but We had issues with dishwasher not washing dishes, dryer not drying clothes, one of the bathroom doors kept getting stuck, and also my sister was stung by bees in backyard. Overall a large enough house for big family but definitely needs some updates along with more cleaning."

"We went down for the Blue Ridge Rock Festival. Our host graciously let us in early to drop off our stuff before we headed to the festival. The house was very nice and very clean. The location was gorgeous. Everything worked great. The honest responded very promptly any time I messaged him."

"Nice little home with country living quirks, as noted in the description. The living room pullout needs to be replaced, however the beds were very comfortable!!"

"We had a great time and the house was perfect for out family. The dock was great and my only suggestions would be if you plan on brining a boat, like we did, bring a few extra bumpers for tying up you boat. The neighbor is quiet and the ramp is just down the road from the house. Everything was clean, well kept and perfect for out family vacation. We will definitely be back again!"
