"Very comfortable beds, clean. I have no complaints, poor wifi and breakfast was weak but we had no problem with it. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and nice balcony, very friendly helpful staff. There is a restaurant just beside the hotel,El Mirado, to the left if you have your back to the ocean which is worth checking out, have to walk up a hill, well worth the walk. Not a lot of stir, bring a book."

"We really enjoyed our stay at La Capitanna. The view is amazing and so was the food. We had their pizza and the breakfast was great (specifically the bread). Can't say enough good things about the hospitality as well everyone was so nice and we really loved the dogs. They went on a walk with us both days to keep us company. "

Everything is exactly as pictured in the photos. We enjoyed a ceviche class one night and they set up a bonfire for us on the beach another night - both excellent and well thought-out. The staff in the dining room and bar are so friendly and helpful and always available! The breakfast was excellent, we loved the juices and bread...

"Bali Hai was like paradise. We had a bungalow two steps away from the sand and 20 m from the ocean. We could hear the sound of the ocean all day and night, the ocean breeze was soothing and kept us cool. The workers were absolutely fantastic helpful and acomodating. The owner was happy to share his story. The decorations and setting were super unique, authentic and amazing. All the facilities were impecably clean and the restaurant had a very diverse menu and were willing and able to accomodate...

"Nice newly opened hotel with very friendly manager and staff. It is situated on a hill with a spectacular views to the sea. Great big pool with sea view. There is a tennis court and even a nice botanical garden (!), which I enjoyed a lot! There were also some cute zorritos to see around the area :)"

"Great place to wind down, relax and enjoy life. Super attentive staff who is always there to help. If you need a few days to get away this is the place. Would definitely go there again if we go to Peru. "

"Hotel has 12 cats. Also 3 dogs, but more importantly 12 cats :) Quiet oasis short walk away from noisy Mancora centre. Huge terrace to have breakfast, which was simple but filling. Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, with comfortable bedding. Big shower cubicle. Staff is very responsive, my Spanish is not the greatest, so sometimes things got lost in translation, but we managed. Oh, did I mention that the hotel has 12 cats?"
