"A rather unkindly furnished room with a bed, TV and a board on the wall. It was enough for an overnight stay, but I wouldn't wish a rainy day on a tourist who has to spend it in his room. The shower was really unpleasant, with the ceiling disintegrating into fringes due to the constantly rising damp and black mould forming. "I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Paris. From the moment I arrived, the check-in experience was warm and friendly. The front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and exceeded my expectations with such ease, making me feel genuinely welcomed. The entire staff made me feel comfortable and at home—it truly felt like I was staying at a friend’s place rather than a hotel. The location was easy to find and tucked away in a fantastic area, making it a great base for exploring Paris. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning on my next trip to Paris!"

"Exactly what you’d expect from a budget B&B hotel, and it does the job very well. Check-in was quick and easy, the room was fairly bare but modern, clean and perfectly functional. It’s a little outside the centre of Epernay, but this wasn’t really an issue for us and the location was still convenient enough. No unnecessary frills, but everything you need for a comfortable and straightforward stay. For the price and what this hotel is trying to be, it’s hard to fault. 5 stars from me."

"Fabulous experience and highlight of our 3 weeks in Europe. Beautiful castle, fabulous dinner and breakfast and the experience was lovely and regal with our maître D. The grounds and historic site added to the weekend. Played tennis and will have to come back to enjoy the pool and hot tub when it is not raining. They are renovating some as well, but this is a well preserved piece of history while still have the charm you would expect from a castle. Better than all the modernized chateau’s."
