"Shepherds huts are new and in really good condition. Very comfortable and well maintained. Continental breakfast was spot on and pub food great as well. Pub staff friendly and efficient. Overall better quality than a hotel stay for the same money."

"Travelled here for a last minute business trip. Very reasonably priced considering location and how expensive other hotels in area were. Late night check in, but was shown to room and they asked if I required food. Room was clean, quiet and had everything I needed. Good WiFi, very decent size room and enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a cup of tea. Fridge stocked with actual milk … wine and sparkling water in there, unsure if was complimentary so didn’t touch. Went to the bar before closing, no draught beers but plenty of cocktails. Was a nice relaxing place to work. Breakfast in morning was good, very efficient - ordered from menu and lots of choices from juices to coffees. Included in room rate. Lots of pastries too. All in all, a very quiet, relaxing places to go if you were a couple highly recommended. Very nice location, not hard to find. Plenty of parking. And a mixture of people staying here. Staff friendly, guests say hello. Compared to a premier inn, at a similar price certainly a huge upgrade. Would stay again if in area. Other smalls wins was, cast to tv was great not many hotels have this. Plenty of plug sockets including usb charging. "

Room was not quite as expected the sheets were Very crumpled as they had not been ironed No no waste bin in bedroom Kitchen across a courtyard with minimal lighting and loose flags In the kitchen there was washing hanging up above the table A duvet One of the lights was out a real mix of knives and forks nothing matched plates had a chip on it. The bin lid was broken Such a shame Simple things that could have been repair or changed Would not recommend or go back there currently not worth the money either "
