We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for 4 nights. The food (breakfast and dinner) were delicious and the service was excellent. The floor creaks a little and there is the noise from downstairs in the evenings, which is to be expected. We would happily stay again here!

A nice and quiet location. Traditional inn feeling. More options for breakast than I was expecting. The hot croissants and pan au chocolàt were great. The best part however was the friendly and welcoming staff. All were kind and full of smiles in every interaction with our little one. Dinner and drink options also great. Verry happy with the stay, and will certainly stay here again in the future when visiting the IOW.

A great place for a great stay
Everything about this Inn is great. Easy check-In and out, very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable and although the the rooms are above a busy pub/resturant, they are not noisy. Excellent choices for breakfast and a large and varied menu for evening meals...all cooked to perfection, and large portions as well. Wonderful views across the fields and hills to the Needles from some rooms and the garden. Perfect location for the Island's attractions too. My friends and I had a really lovely stay here and recommend it highly.

Highly recommend this Inn
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wight Mouse Inn. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was very spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom and very nice shower. The breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. We ate in the pub on 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it also. We appreciated the dog friendliness, and the outdoor seating areas. There are lots of areas for walking, hiking and enjoying the incredible views. Parking was available and free. It was just a short drive to many of the tourist attractions. One item that could be improved is the lock/security of the door to the room (we felt reasonably safe, but noted it as a potential safety issue). The lock was not very secure and could easily be picked by a thief. Even so, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Inn for a relaxing, comfortable location with good food and friendly staff.

If I had to complain it would be that the food plates are so big and full with food they don't fit on the tables. We'll be back next year

We were very impressed with the hotel. It was very child friendly and catered well for specific dietary requirements. The family room was compact but perfectly adequate for our needs. Our children loved staying at the property and want to stay again. We had no real problems and can certainly recommend the property to those with children in the 3-12 age range.

Amazingly stunning venue & even more amazing team!
Arrived on a super busy, hot summers Saturday for our 7 night stay and when we checked in, we were made to feel so welcome as we were shown to our spacious family room (10). The team of staff, headed by Katie and Debbie could not have done more to make our holiday a special one. Great choice of food and drinks available and a specials board which genuinely did change daily with some delicious delights. The pub and restaurant, despite being so busy, felt like a very well oiled machine with everything just flowing beautifully. Impressed to see that every morning, not only was the interior of the venue was cleaned, but the grounds were tended to too, stray straws, cigarette ends etc. The room we were in was the coolest apparently but upon hearing that this menopausal old gal was still suffer with the heat, a fan was very kindly left in our room by the lovely friendly housekeeping ladies without being asked for. Bed was made daily and toilet roll, and tea/coffee supplies topped up, however, and this was my only (very minor) issue, was that the carpet didn’t appear to be vacuumed throughout the week as a trip to the beach meant we’d inadvertently brought sand back with us which was left undiscovered on the bedroom carpet, and dust from the bathroom vent wasn’t cleared from the bathroom floor all week. If I’d have asked, I know it would have been dealt with immediately but wasn’t that big an issue. Before we’d left, we started planning our next visit so see you soon Wight Mouse Inn

Fantastic hotel
Honestly such a fantastic place to come and stay. We came with the family, 2 young kids. Both enjoyed the gardens and the room was more than enough sized. Food was incredible and the staff were very friendly. Obviously a good place to come as I found out my mum used to bring me here over 30 years ago too!

We had a great stay at the Wight Mouse. Staff were very friendly and helpful from start to finish. Our family room was stylish and spotless and was put straight every day, we felt very at home here. My children loved the cooked breakfasts and the red pool table. Really close to Blackgang Chine. Thanks so much!

the place was all decorated but the actual room cleaning was not done properly rim on toilet was disgusting, the floor corners were not clean and its a shame as the place is all decorated but it will fall into a mess as the cleaning not done and the doors are filthy in the rooms these have not been painted or cleaned. TV wants amazon log in to work!!!! Food was ok but a bit cold, we ordered a started and i think it was all cooked at the same time but brought out separately. On the up side great wine for good prices

Birthday Stay
This was a birthday weekend. The hotel was excellent. Staff polite, professional and friendly, nothing was too much for each one of them. The breakfast came with the room and there was as much or as little that you wanted, also the food in the bar/restaurant was was tasty and plentiful. Dogs were allowed and there were plenty of them either staying in the hotel with their owners or finishing a walk from the many lovely scenery. With the price of the stay, breakfast and having the dog with us was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend the Wight Mouse.

Can't go wrong. Nice quiet surroundings.
Good clean hotel room with sea view. Evening meal and breakfast of good standard. Staff accommodating. Stayed 3rd September. Young lady singer was on till 9pm. Wonderful voice. Not too loud as to drown out table conversations. Will recommend the inn to friends and family.

Lovely place. Very comfy room with sofa which was very much appreciated. Good bathroom and bath. Ate an evening meal which we enjoyed then sat in the garden. Had breakfast. Good hot selection. The best play to stay on the isle of wight
A brilliant place to stay, the room was lovely, modern and clean. The garden had a play area with lots of outdoor seating and a beautiful view. Food was very good, lots of choice and excellent value for money. The place had a good atmosphere and every member of staff was lovely, friendly and smiley. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back to stay again!
