The host was wonderful; she even met us at the vaporetto stop to make sure we found our way. The apartment was spotless and very well-appointed; they provided plenty of supplies like soap, shampoo, coffee and etc.For me, the location was perfect. It is the most convenient spot for the Murano boat and the airport shuttle, yet still very easy to walk everywhere. It was incredibly quiet at night. I will definitely try to stay here again!

Easy acess to public transport and restaurants

3rd floor walkup with easy acess to the ferry from the airport and a short walk from sightseeing areas and close to quiet local resturants, La Colonna was really good and I'd say Panificio Crosera is about as authentic as you can get.

Charming and quiet

This place was very comfortable, very clean, and in a great location. We felt safe walking in the evenings. The stairs are a bit tight and steep going up with luggage, but overall a great place. Would stay here again.

Nice affordable stay in quiet neighborhood in Venice

Brankica was very communicative, and the place had everything that we needed for our stay. It was very clean. We had some difficulty with check in but were able to communicate with our host to resolve things. This was a great deal, and we would stay here again if it's available if we're in Venice again.

Perfect location

The apartment had everything we needed. It was in a lovely quiet location but really handy for the vaporetto and a short walk to the Rialto Bridge. We followed Brankica’s recommendation and ate nearby at the Osteria alla Frasca. We had a delicious meal in this lovely small restaurant. We would definitely return.

Fabulous Location

One of the things that made this loft apartment stand out for me was the location. It was so easy to get to everywhere I wanted to visit from there! And at the same time, it felt like I was getting a taste of what living in Venice is really like. A wonderful experience.

Wonderful Venice area

Brankica was SO helpful, for the months in advance and especially the day of arrival when overheated travelers struggled with a new country and language and new transportation by water bus then walking the narrow streets. Thank you for having someone there to greet us. Location in Cannaregio was great, out of the super busy areas but easy to walk anywhere. Also two great dinner recommendations. We'd do it again gladly.

Nice apartment in a great location. About a :15 min walk to most sights, or :05 min to the nearest vaporetto dock. It was clean and comfortable and Brankica was a great host. You do need to be judicious about opening the windows at night as there are some pesky mosquitoes. Overall very nice.

This apartment was so well stocked with kitchen ware! I loved the many purple utensils and the cow print refrigerator!! The location was also perfect! I even loved taking the garbage out to the trash collectors, they were SO nice! We also appreciated the host turning on the AC for us. It was warm, and we could not open the windows because of mosquitos. We would have preferred opening the windows to sleep, but you can't avoid nature!

Comfortable and Welcoming Loft for two walkers

Brankica was very fast to respond with check in instructions and directions. Victoria was very welcoming upon check in and helped us locate the front door. The property is an easy climb up 2-3 flights of steps which provides nice morning sun and quiet all times of day. The fun cow print and artwork provided lots of character. The kitchen was well stocked with dishwater and pantry staples. The bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood is away from the crowds and features a few local restaurants, and the stroll to the active areas of Venice is a great way to transition to the busier areas. The waterbus station is also very close and makes getting to and from the S Lucia train station very easy. Overall, this is a very cozy, comfortable, and clean Venice getaway for a few nights made for people that want to explore the city on foot.

Great loft to live like a local

The loft apartment was as described. It was clean, the bed comfortable, and pillows were good. The place is very quiet! The kettle was appreciated for morning coffee. There was a notebook with wifi info, and a page of info on trash & recycling. Very particular instructions. We recycle as well, but there were many instructions. We took trash out and put in bins daily, but did leave some in receptacle the day we left. Hopefully we did it right! We tried to leave it clean, except for dirty towels. There was a washer, but it was all in Italian, and i had no idea which buttons to push, otherwise we might have washed all the towels. Maybe a tip for host, to leave instructions for washer in english, also contact or emergency information, or phone number in that book. The host gave us a map, but it was difficult to find. Thank goodness she was watching for us, and yelled out a window. The number above the door of the building where we entered was faded and not readable. It needs repainted. There are also many narrow steep stairs, so you need to be able to carry your luggage up. Overall this was a wonderful location and place to stay. We stayed 6 nights and walked everywhere. Thank you Branika! We enjoyed our stay!

A/C issues

I hate to have to write a negative review, but I feel it’s my responsibility to make people aware of what they’re getting themselves into. The owner was very friendly and communication was fairly easy. There was a slight hiccup at check in where I was told I could come early, but the cleaning lady wasn’t there to let me in. Not a big deal. When I checked in, I noticed that the apartment was very hot and the A/C wasn’t working. After messaging the owner, I was told that it had just broken and would be getting fixed after my stay and that I should just leave the windows open. Because of this, it never got very cool in the apartment. Also, tons of mosquitoes came into the apartment because there are no screens on the windows. I woke up after the first night covered in mosquito bites, and it was hard to fall asleep from all the buzzing. I don’t feel it’s fair for the owner to put on the listing that the apartment has A/C when none is provided. Had I known about this, it would have been a dealbreaker. There wasn’t even a fan to help with circulation. The apartment also wasn’t the cleanest. There was some sort of food inside the coffeemaker, hair in the bathroom, and just a general layer of dust and grime all over. On a positive note, the apartment is nicely decorated and in a great area. I enjoyed coming back to the peace and quiet of Cannaregio after the crowds in the rest of the city. Unfortunately, due to the other issues I can’t recommend this place.

Lovely little loft apartment on the top of a building that is tucked away in a back alley. There is a coop mini market nearby and a handful of little cafes/ bacaro. Once you get the hang of navigating the streets it’s pretty easy. Watch your head on the steps if you’re tall!
