Stora Amundön nature reserve on the Swedish West Coast. There are horses and sheep left to graze on the island in the summer.
Swedish West Coast Down by the water on a sunny day in May. The pink flowers are sea thrift (Armeria maritima). Sat on the rocks, looking out over the blue sea, glittering in the sun. This was the first time this year, that the stone actually had warmed up enough to make it pleasant to remain seated. Without the jacket on... And I was just one, out of many, that had the same bright idea this day!
Mute swans are common here on the Swedish West Coast. These last days there have been unusually many. On this occasion a flock of swans had stopped close to land, and some of them stood here calmly "posing" on rocks in the water - unaware of the odd person sneaking up behind the bushes.... ;)
